Well, i just updated it this morning so I've probably not experienced all that the update has to offer. This is just a summary:
1)The interface has changed : the app menu, settings ,desktop ,notifications bar have all changed.

2)Notification dots : have been added for every app.

3)Removed features: music player( only the play music app is available now but it has been greatly improved and all my playlists on the deleted music app were migrated to the play music app), screen record or whatever it was called has been removed also.

4)Eye care mode: very helpful to control blue light. It can be scheduled to automatically be enabled at a particular time.

5)Storage space freed up: this is one i love in particular. The update freed up some space in the internal memory and also some apps that couldn't be deleted before can now be uninstalled (not all but a handful)

6)Picture in picture mode: this enables you to keep watching a video while doing other things at the same time. The video is shown in a smaller window that's moveable. I currently use this feature on VLC player but it has performance issues.

7)New emojis : the new emojis are rounder and similar to those of WhatsApp and a few new ones have been added.

8] Battery life extended : at least i think it has been, i don't have previous data to compare it to.


That's all for now, as i notice more features/issues I'll add them.

I have updated and it seems cool, the feel is great and it has battery optimization. I've been using 91% since yesterday and it's on 29% currently which rarely happens when I was on 7.0. You can ask Amy questions, I'm willing to answer

Mine is now saying "ur system is in d latest version" even tho I haven't done d upgrade, so it's still android 7.0

Its strange because the update appeared on Sunday. Now it seems to have vanished from my phone
