Seriously I don't wanna get involved in it but....... it's kinda disgusting we are comparing two Nigerians in the same Club, and beginning to rate one ahead of the Other.

Simon was injured for several Weeks, but we ain't taking it into Consideration, rather expected his Stats to keep improving while nursing Injury?!

It's a pity we ain't engaging in a healthy Debate with verifiable Facts! What makes Kalu better than Simon?! Well..... I don't wanna get involved cos its not healthy.

Even taking the injury into consideration, Samuel has played only 4 games more than Simon so they are certainly comparable.

I watch their games regularly. Samuel Kalu has been involved in more goals than Simon.

Yes O pari master but specifically Reuben was mentioned being a clubless player.

I think others are not clubless,so possible they merited it and tell me players that are supposed to make the team.

I remember Elderson Echiejele was dropped due to injury, Obiorah Nwankwo couldn't meet up,Fengor Ogude lost his place due to his performance at afcon 2013,Nosa Igiebor had a woeful afcon 2013,Uche IK lost out due to indiscipline, Sunday Mba after Afcon couldn't reproduced the same form and Brown Ideye had a very woeful performance at confederation cup. These are the member of Afcon 2013 that were dropped.

Outside this Obafemi Martins was recalled but failed to impress,Joel Obi too couldn't meet up cos he was just coming back from injury, also Bright Dike had injury prior to WC

Oh for highest bidder, pls can you prove it.

Obafemi Martins was in the form of his life. Raheem Lawal was one of the best performer going to the nations cup, Lukeman Haruna was playing 24/7 in the Ukrainian league with Kvie and in the UEFA Champions League. .

Gbenga Arokoyo and Kenneth Otigba played regularly in the Turkish and Eredivise league.

Ike Uche was the best striker we had prior to the world Cup.

Kalu is a good player but outshing Simon Moses is going too far.

Simon Moses was Gent best player before going out for 8 weeks due to injury.

Besides, Simon Moses with his football IQ won Gent the first league title. Something Kalu is yet to do.

This is a bit deceptive.

Kalu has missed 6 games this season.
Moses has missed 10 games.

So the difference is only 4 games.

You have to keep going back to Simon's first season.. Agreed, he was great in his first season but he has not grown from that.

With four games more, you can score 4 goals more and assists 4 more.

Kalu Samuel goals and assists came when Simon Moses was out due to injury but Kalu has only scored 1 goal more than Moses.

Nevertheless, Simon Moses still remains their best player.

stats are just for the opta boys and never tell the whole story
eg if my team keeps passing sideways and backwards without launching any attack, stats will show my team having 100% possession
kanu played for ajax, inter and milan
amokachi for everton

Yes Martins had his chance but failed to impree

Haruna had a terrible match subbed out in first half

Arokoyo was a trained Kwara academy player with Kwara united and very new in europe but his stats was awsome but i thought he should be for future then but couldn't progress, not yet ripe for Eagles as that time.

On Kenneth i agreed cos he has everything to slug it out with Oboboana,Egwueke and Kunle Odunlami and Omeruo

Ik Uche i think you know how everything went between Keshi and Uche, discipline issue at afcon.

Playing 20 minutes isn't enough - Rohr on Iheanacho’s match-winning display
By Tolu Olasoji, Correspondent

The striker broke his league duck for the Foxes at the weekend but the Super Eagles handler is unfazed as he wants more prominence for the youngster

Despite putting in a virtuoso performance on Saturday, Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr insists Kelechi Iheanacho must get more playing time at Leicester City.

The former Manchester City striker made a half-hour cameo to help Claude Puel’s men pull an enthralling comeback against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.

Iheanacho laid a lovely assist before grabbing his first English Premier League strike for Leicester to help the King Power Stadium outfit to a 4-1 victory.

The Nigeria international was only making his 15th appearance - 12th from the bench - in the top-flight this term having struggled to hit the ground running after completing a record move from City in the summer. He has been named in the matchday squad 21 times, failing to get involved in six of those.

However, the 21-year-old features more prominently in the FA Cup - helping Leicester reach the quarterfinals - playing four times and scoring in as many matches.

And, although, Rohr is delighted with his recent progress, the national team handler wants the player to rack up more minutes, especially with March's pre-World Cup friendlies against Poland and Serbia fast approaching.

“Kelechi is doing very well. I'm in touch with his coach - Claude Puel - he's a friend of mine,” Rohr told Goal .

“And let him now play a little bit more and I hope he does because it is not enough playing 20 minutes even if he scores he has to play more and I hope now he will have the opportunity to play other games and to be fit for our two friendlies.”

Iheanacho is likely to continue his run in the FA Cup this Sunday when Leicester City battle Chelsea for a spot in the semifinals of the competition.

Look at Etebo in Las palmas, Ndidi in Leicester... Those are players clearly in great form for their teams.

Azeez had a few good games but he was anonymous several times for his team. That said, I believe, he made the WC team on merit but he should never have been a first choice sub.

Aluko and Igiebor on pure quality should have been there.

Azeez was more of a CM/DM though. Aluko would've been a better option over someone like Uchebo.

Poland's strength is wing play, with lewandoski waiting in the centre. Nullify their wingers, they will resort to long balls. We have a stronger midfield. As for lewandoski scoring..... Well... The kind of service he gets at Bayern is different from that of Poland. Idowu and Shehu have a lot of work to do sha.
