Pls we should desist from over-hyping our Players! Matic and Ndidi in the same Bracket?! Lawd...... that's kinda too much coz they ain't mate on the Pitch.

Guests viewing this Thread would think we are bunch of Fanatics or Comedians. We should allow the Lad to keep improving instead of hyping him.

Did we forget Matic has proven himself also in another elite League aside from EPL?! Do I need to remind Dudes here that Matic is presently the Heartbeat of the most successful Club in the EPL?!

I repeat - Matic and Ndidi are in different Class, the same way United States and Korea Republic ain't in the same League. A world class Player ain't the same with a developing Player.
You might have made a great point, but you ruined it with the country comparisons.

Abeg. whatever you say, Ndidi is better than him currently. His peak performance was against Griezmann in the UCL. That guy is a game reader. potentially he is going far places. Matic yaff peaked already

A 100 million pounds Pogba fees would probably take care of the whole sevilla squad yet they got beaten with their tails between their legs

5 Engliish teams in the second round he has been shouting since, two have been bundled out with probably more to go, ...yet both him and the English media won't still wanna agree that football..., extremely good football exist outside England

You are clearly misrepresenting me to get your view across which simply is totally unfounded.

Once again and again and again I will say it for you again
.
As you no deh hear word well.

The EPL in my opinion is the most physically taxing intense and competitive league in Europe. It's not the most technically astute I willl give that accolade to La Liga and Seria A.

Is it the best? Possibly is it in the top 3 best in the world leagues?? I would say, A BIG RESOUNDING YES

You are being sentimental.

You want to crown Ndidi King before he has become Prince. He is on the way but he is not there yet. How many seasons did it take Gerrard, Vieira, Makalele and even most recently Ngolo Kante to get recognised.

Forget the paper talk. Something you forget is that he has not won anything yet. Not one cup not one league nothing players get more recognition when they crown top performances with a winning season or trophy.

Ngolo Kante won the EPL with Leicester that crowned off his season. His fellow professionals voted him the best player in the EPL.

Ndidi time will come possibly in another club maybe next season at Liverpool Fc.

Bye bye

Lol. very funny.

You're basing you're stance on media relevance knowing so well that that's just a Babylonian flashbang

Please don't follow the media, especially if you've been intricately following a particular player well to the core.

Just like a guy that followed live commentaries versus one that watches the match live eg Barça Vs Chelsea.

An argument occurred cos the guy that was into commentaries on phone was saying stuff that the guy on TV saw not. quite confusing.

how many of them where born in africa and playing for african coutries?

George Weah and Drogba

Salah is now the number one player in Liverpool the toast of the EPL. Does his Egyptian nationality have any negative or otherwise influence on the massive accolades he is getting world wide.

Please please do not be too parochial, yes racism deh but if you perform outstandingly you can overcome.

I just laughed when I saw the scoreline yesterday. When we praise our players it is sentiments. When he praises the EPL it is objectivity. Smh. Since 2012 how have English teams fared in the Champions league compared to other leagues. Just because five teams crossed over to this round komekn will not let us hear word. I'm almost praying that Barca should out Chelsea tonight just so things will be seen in proper perspective.

Premiership is touted as the best in terms of physicality according to komekn and that is objectivity
But when we say Ndidi is the best as far as tackles are concerned based on current stats he says it's sentiments.
He uses just one quality to hype the EPL - physicality
When we point at Ndidi's one unique quality he says it's sentiments

So once I see him use the words ''sentiments/sentimental'' or ''objective/objectivity'' I just avoid the debate. Because his logic is simple:my views and whatever accords to my views= objectivity
Other people's views contrary to his own and whatever accords to it= sentiments

Na to tell am bye bye. I no dey for long talk.

I think most of pro-matic(that sounds like an English word, lol) guys on here are fast in conclusion. The fact that we say that Ndidi is better than anyone in Europe this season doesn't mean he's world class yet.

MAYBE THE RECURRING QUESTION SHOULD BE "CAN AN UNRATED PLAYER OUTPERFORM A WORLD CLASS PLAYER?"

OR BETTER STILL, Can a world class player have a rival from one not yet tagged a world class player?

if the answer is yes, then let's calm our nerves abeg.

I hate when we brush aside stats Asif na computer game dey produce am. It's not fair atall.

In this era, it part of what decided the transfer market.

Imagine a scout wanting to know the number of shots a player takes inside the box? Abeg who get time (we would say) But they consider it a big big decider.

Ndidi passing is nowhere good enough to play for Barca(at least not yet). He has the potential to be a world class destroyer, but at the moment, Matic is simply better and more experienced. He reads the game better, dictates play better and of course has a better passing range. Ndidi is a tackling machine and edges Matic in terms of mobility.

Matic failed to read the game yesterday , where was he Matic is gradually becoming a shadow of himself ... if he must contend with Ndidi , he must put up a sterling performance consistently . at the moment the long leg guy is ahead of him .
