LZAA:Jorginho is a regista, Ndidi is a destroyer. Both can play together or in spite of one another. It all depends on how the team sets up |

Kog45:Yep. One of the young CM around. Physically imposing and comfortable on the ball. Think we should play our regular Ndidi - Onazi that day. |

Bros, pls compare him to his mates and not to the almighty! Chei! Are you aware that Leo Messi is the only player in the world who realistically possess all these qualities you listed. And I dare you to tell me who else does. Even Andres Iniesta, at his best, didn't possess all of those qualities. And that's the standard you've already set for the 21 year old Ndidi Na wa for una o! Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by edi287: 1:42pm On Mar 14, 2018 |
LZAA:Kante as a CM would merely be a "box to box" destroyer. Kante can't play as a Regista. Kante can't sit in front of the back 4. He's never done that. Drinkwater, Matic mainly did that. He just buzzes around breaking up play. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by edi287: 1:46pm On Mar 14, 2018 |
Kog45:What he's saying is Kante doesn't sit in front of the back 4 like Makelele or even Mikel did at Chelsea. He plays a bit further up front breaking up play. Matic is usually the last guy who sits deep and dictates play. |

Noooo, pls come back .... don't go back to ghost mode .... we're not done yet OK, when was the last time you saw Modric, Busquets, or Fernandinho scored from a freekick? Besides Busquets and Modric are not great in shooting either. And Fernandinho isn't that great in dribbling. O pari eterisan: |

eterisan:God bless u sir, u just spoke my mind. Ndidi is good but not up to the level of world class. watched his game against west brom and u could see that he has to improve his passing skills, football intelligence, composure and also shooting... heard he has the highest shots without a goal in the league 4 Likes |

Nah, I won't call him world class yet but he's a fantastic player and has the potential to be world class. He has to show me at the world cup before I label him world class. And by the way, same with Kelechi Iheanacho ... Kelechi has the potential to be world class as well but he seems to have lost his way a bit, unfortunately O pari eterisan: 1 Like |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by RichardKajola(m): 2:16pm On Mar 14, 2018 |
Icon79:I think Casemiro is a good example though he might not really be a good dribbler and doesn't take free kick. A player cannot have all the attributes but if Ndidi is to move to a bigger team his tackling abilities will be required less but the other qualities will be needed more and he will be required to wriggle his way out of a difficult situation 2 Likes |

Some comment u guys made u can only do it on a Nigeria forum like nairaland go to international forum and make those claims . claims like Mikel is on pirlo level Iheanacho should bench aguero in man city Ndidi is the best defensive midfielder in the world Mikel is a world class player 5 Likes 1 Share |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon79(m): 2:56pm On Mar 14, 2018 |
Actually, I beg to differ on Modric. Modric has never been a great striker of the ball. He can dribble and pass, but shooting has never been his strong quality. His game mirrors that of Ozil. Now, if you're talking about Raktic .... that one packs bullets on both feet. O pari asha80: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon79(m): 2:58pm On Mar 14, 2018 |
Good point. Ndidi still needs to improve in many areas, no doubt. But my argument is not to expect him to become world class in every area of the game before we can rate him. If that's the standard then only Leo Messi would quality O pari RichardKajola: |
