mar19: Since everyone seems more interested in your Scholarship, let me take time to assure you that there is huge demand for chemists, pharmacists and health professionals. Ireland has significant number of pharmaceutical companies and even supply to the UK so pass well with good grades , structure your CV --its all about branding and get the required skill sets. You may even be lucky to get an all expense paid research program offer before you finish. Wishing you success. *** For scholarship enquires: Merit based scholarships are often between 50% -100% off tuition fees and at least EUR2,000 off the overall Tuition fee. Cheers 2 Likes |

mar19: I was already clapping for you and thinking to myself "This person must be pretty good". Then I scrolled down and saw you CGPA. Thats really good. My advice: Go for it! You've gained admission and got full scholarship (without applying for it), they obviously recognise your talent. UCD is ranked 2nd in Ireland and amongst top 300 in the world (which i think is amazing). Who knows, you just might get sponsored to do your Phd as well (a phd in chemical science isnt beans). Wish you all the best sir...or ma 3 Likes |

Hi guys, please has anyone applied for the GOI-IES scholarship? I applied for the scholarship but didn't receive any feedback. Did anyone receive a response (perhaps an "Application Successful" email) of some sort? I didn't get any so I need to be sure I did it right and they got my mail. Wana know if i should resend my application or just wait. |

Hello, please I need some guidance. I have completed my application (yet to pay for app fee & submit) for UCD- MA International Development. I have a GPA of 3.67 and two years working experience in research and development. Please what are my chances of getting admitted and a scholarship too. Thanks. |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Heimdall: 11:29am On Mar 15, 2018 |
Sapph: For admission, your chances are somewhat high. As for the scholarship, it's hard to say; it depends on how good your cgpa is, compared to other people applying along with you. If yours in among the highest when compared to other people applying then you stand a good chance, otherwise, your chances are pretty slim. Contrary opinions anyone?? All the best! |

Heimdall: Thank you Heimdall... Thr scholarship is very important o. Will give it a try. |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Heimdall: 2:23pm On Mar 15, 2018 |
Sapph: You're most welcome. There's no harm in trying. You can go ahead and apply. UCD has the global excellence scholarship and global scholarship (covering 50-100% of tuition). Find that here: http://www.ucd.ie/international/study-at-ucd-global/coming-to-ireland/scholarships-and-funding/gt-scholarships-and-funding You can also try the GOI-IES scholarship(link is a few pages back) but the deadline is on the 23rd of this month so you gotta hurry. It's worth noting that you need to have a conditional offer from the school before you can apply for any of these scholarships. Good luck mate! |
