Pls can teething stop a baby from feeding? Ds has not been feeding well since yesterday, he refuses to suck even when it is obvious he is hungry thus he can't sleep well especially during the day making him cranky. Abeg I'm getting fed up or is this more than teething?

@Anugod,a baby that have stayed at home with few people,and then suddenly introduced to the public, needs time to re adjust.Both emotionally and health wise.Can easily pick up microbes,till her immune matures.
Fortify her immunity,continuously through zinc,vit c or any other multivitamin.
Please,do take her to the hospital.
Babies,easily get dehydrated and e.t.c.
As much as you can,use wipes frequently,immediately anyone touches her stylishly,hand muffins,back her.Getting back to work is a decision,you could also try to bargain some hours off,like arriving school late and leaving earlier.To avoid crowd rush.

Most times, the reason they bite is because they feel frustrated or they've not had enough time with you. Probably you were away for long and she didn't understand the reason for your absence. when you are back home after the day's job, spend like 10-15 minutes with her before doing any other thing. That bonding is very essential for her.
when next she wants to attempt it, draw her close; look into her eyes and gently tell her "don't bite me! It hurts"...when you do that 2-3 times, she will stop it...I don't support beating !

Please no egg yoke o you should move to pap first so his body get used to it before introducing something more solid.

We have been battling running stomach at our own end. Just as she was recovering last week, she started pooing green poo. Chai! I didn't think it was foremilk cos we always stay long on each bress before switching. I googled tire

I kukuma decided to continue on one bress until I can literally feel it empty. Lai lai o, my bress no gree empty and the second would become so heavy.
Thank God there was no engorgment sha. We would feed on one bress from morning till late afternoon, and use the other bress for the rest of the day

Funny enough, her poo started getting brighter and back to its original colour Chai! I wonder why it's now this way. We used to alternate bress previously without issues

It's official mamas, my girl wants me to resign!
Since we had that running stomach episode last week and I didn't go to school for the rest of the week, she recovered well (if 4 poos a day is proper recovery ).
Just as I was adjusting to 4 poos a day from previous 1 poo in 2-3 days, I decided we were well enough to go to school yesterday.

She pooped her first before we left home and in less than 4 hours she had pooped 4 more times making 5 by midday! I just carried my kaya and raced home. Ors and zinc to the rescue.

Today, we stayed home and she managed to poo 3 times with begging sef
She has been her normal playful self, nothing strange.

Is this girl trying to say I should stop going to the school? Cos me I don't understand again

Our own green poo saga was last week. I'm sure he empties one breast and we just treated infection so I was told to just wait It out It will stop and it did after 3 days or so.

Anubaby should allow you work o or she doesn't want mummy to buy those fine dresses for her?
Maybe the school environment is kinda toxic for her. Pele.

Yes, It's your expression that matters. I assume this happens when you're breastfeeding. If she bites then she's no longer hungry, pack your fallen olympus and carry your face. After a while she will realise breast goes away when she bites it, they no dey tell person

Hello, Please is the below SMA OK? Because I noticed almost everybody here that uses SMA, uses SMA gold or Nan1.

I need to know so that once this one is exhausted, I can switch. Although so far, she is taking this one very well, no changes in her poo or anything. Everything is fine overall.

when I started, he could take only half at once..so I put it in his bottle and refrigerate the rest. However, I don't let it stay more than 24hrs..overtime, he could finish one at once

Alright thanks. Luckily i got the drink yesterday on my way from work, bought it for #500 and i was hoping i bought same drink as the price is low compared to what i read here. My ds likes it and finished all at once but my dd doesn't but i'm forcing her to drink hoping she'll finish the remaining today.

Plus that night, she suddenly cried bitterly from her sleep, such as she has never cried before since she was born. Even breastmilk couldn't pacify my foodie I double checked to make sure it wasn't something that bit her, and she only stopped crying after I put anointing oyel on her.

I'll check at the hospital, but I'm really beginning to think that it's something about that environment that's not friendly to her

Thanks teamie. We're on zinc currently. Do I give vit c alongside? She used to take it before but seems it easily affects her stool, so I stopped. I'll still go get the all clear from the hospital tho

There's no way to know if she will readily accept/like what you switch to.

You can't keep her indoors forever, it's going to be a bit wobbly at first but she'd get used to it

LOL @ bolded.....ds is 3,dd is 6 but she is a picky eater and doesn't eat much that's why i'm trying to persuade her to drink it though her lil brother is ready to drink her share but i want her to take it........
