Actually it is B she mostly sponsors. Her childhood friend just came into the U.S last month on a B2 visa, all travel expenses taken care of by my aunty. In 2015 she did the same for her brother and his wife. I shared their visa interview transcript on this thread (part 1 I think)...

No chance, they can't do anything to ur case because u ain't immediate. B and ties are for non-immigrant.

As for the sponsorship debate on ground, what Iryan has stated are possible, just that the invitee's ties have to be tight on it's own .

Meanwhile, are we expecting an 18 year old in the Nigerian context to be able to sponsor sef? Rare! I have have seen and can attest to visas being granted on Iryan's grounds a couple of times; mother sponsoring son of over 30 years for landmark age birthday, even younger brother sponsoring elder brother for their youngest brother's wedding to play the role of their late dad, father sponsoring son to attend mother's funeral, friend sponsoring friend for his wedding as Best man, husband sponsoring wife for his landmark age birthday, uncle sponsoring niece to attend nephew's graduation, etc....

Please I am applying for a US Non immigrant visa there is a conference I need to attend. While filling my DS 160 form I was asked for a my contact in the United States.
There is also a field for relationship to the contact.

Since it is a conference. i already have the contact details of my contact in the US but what do I put in the field titled relationship to you.

Please answer I need help urgently. I have a tight deadline.

You should do more research but in most case they don't ask for bank statement except in case of medical and student visa.

Nobody will assist you in packaging your application... Do it as you please because we're not V.O and can not say who will get the visa but my advice is always say the truth because it's the right thing to do.

Please Honestly what do I do. I have already submitted my DS160 and I heard I can no longer change the details in it.
Another edition of the same conference is coming up on October in california. Please i need advise.. I would have preferred the first edition comnig up in may as I already have a discount for it.

OTHER. You explain @ the interview S/he is your conference contact... I did something like that if I remember well and it was issued... Just be truthful
