That's not true.
Besides Housemates race to the store room for one reason or the other, his might not be for cigarettes alone. Some housemates race to the store room just for the fun of it...some to be the first to get glimpse of what Biggie has brought for them.
Why will he race to store room for cigarettes when he is the only one who smokes in the house. Even if he takes him hours to get there his cigarettes will still be available.
