RichardKajola: Rashford is definitely a potential to become top quality. Not sure if he has what it takes to challenge the best in the game. Nice write up. Harry Kane is a top one but I think he still a level below World Class. If he joins a team like Real and maintains his form, he can become World Class. Keep in mind Aguero was already performing at a high level with Atletico Madrid. Had two assists in the UEFA Cup final, had a brace against Chelsea later, etc. I put him ahead of Suarez due to longevity at a high level. |

eterisan:Sir pls which statement endorsement?cos am confused o. Pls with due respect let us be man enough here when it comes to issues and there is no need dragging people who know nothing about issues into it. Sir many of us here have received series of insults but sometimes when kids talks you should know and when mature guys talks i think you should understand, honestly is not about age but exposure and maturity. Did you know a moniker had threatened me with threat comment like he is ready to kill just cos he love a player and i still relate with him with no fuss Sir you know what anyone you see that always pushing out his chest on issues especially online issues is a weakling.I do called them online rats with lion face meaning pretending to be hard but they are nothing. I will not deceive you i can tell you the age range of monikers here cos our comments always showing it and some comments better to read it and move on if you don't want issues cos we personalised things with emotions and sentiments I think we need to understand one thing here and am always saying we are all here for a purpose and it's SE,so let carry ourselves with dignity and respect and we enjoy the thread. 12 Likes 1 Share |

forgiveness:. Where in heaven's name are you leading us? Make your point precisely, would ya! The arguement was that English players who play or has played for the English national team hardly excel outside England. You named a Scottish and Welsh player( who both play in separate national football teams) , you have been corrected already, but all you do is ask questions leading us nowhere in particular. Just hit the nail on the fvcking head. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

MetalJigsaw: I will respond with a question ❓ Who would you rather have the often captain of Brazil and Manchester city, the very impressive Fernandinho with blistering pace and technical ability with tactical awareness garnished with great vision. Or Busquets Finally do you think Busquets would be able to make it into the current Manchester City first team. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by MetalJigsaw(m): 12:21am On Mar 17, 2018 |
komekn:It all boils down to the philosphy of the said team. Apart from the pace issue you've been stressing about. What other ability does fernandinho feature that Busquests doesn't posses the more? Sergio is a better player as an obvious fact bro. |

FIFA has finally approved the use of VAR for the World Cup. There will be four officials who would work exclusively as VARs during the tournament - the main VAR, and three assistant VARs. Is this good or not so good Development? 3 Likes 1 Share |

komekn: Busquets! ..Busquet!!...Busquet!!! I will choose any day anytime Honestly bro,.. Pace is the only criteria you are using to rate Fernandinho above Busquets. And No, Busquets can not fit into the current Man City squad and according to you, that would mean that Busquets doesn't know how to play football. But newsflash, Busquets without pace is the best DM currently in the world playing for probably the best team in the world after R. Madrid. So you see, he doesn't need pace in order to be approved by you or the EPL, the rest of the world already given him that, approved him a long time ago. Players don't need pace before they are recognized as world class. Players don't need EPL approval before they are crowned world best. As you go on and on about EPL, have you stopped to know why no EPL player ever won World Best apart from C. Ronaldo? And also why any serious player who desire to win world best shouldn't remain in the EPL? Well , that's because all they know is pace, pace, pace without football sense. Bunch of players running around aimlessly like headless chickens. |

PDPGuy: My brother, it is a good development o!..... Everyday I drink beer happily waiting for this world cup because severally Africa have been robbed by those black men in the middle. VAR to me is the best thing since slice bread for Africa going into this world cup as subtle offsides, PK calls have been extremely bais against us in the past. Just watch as this VAR will clear off such erroneous calls against us. Africa will do well in this tournament. I see at least 3 African teams in Second Round, two in the quarter finals and one in the semifinals. Baba we have been robbed in broad daylight in the past. VAR is here to put every minute of the games straight So Yes! it is a very welcomed development 1 Like |

Kog45:I don't think it's a good thing to just give them a slot in the team. Such actions can cause bitterness in the team. So who would lose his place for them now? Na so dem good reach? I even think it's too late in the day for them to be part of our WC team. Post WC, maybe 3 Likes |

komekn:Football is not all about blistering pace all the time. Try and unplug yourself from English brand of football cos all the day long you talk of physicality, pace and power- the holy Trinity of komeknian football philosophy. Busquets has no blistering pace but he's one of the best. So what about pace? 1 Like |
