one thing we all should try to understand is good footballers flop atimes (see Lukaku, Morata, Costa even CR7 at mid seaaon) and the average ones also ball sometimes (watch Chipo Moutin, stoke City first leg against man u, Rashford against Liverpool) But that doesn't imply that Moutin is better than Lukaku! abi Rashford better pass CR7? when we compare players, we shouldn't just base our argument on current stat. The player wey perform poorly today fit win 'man of the match' tomorrow.

that aside, these days I just keep having the feeling that Nigeria will win world cup! yes, I talk am!! but before una criticise me make una listen...
2016, I had the feeling that Portugal will win Euro and they did!
early 2017, I had a feeling that I was going to be a dad, few months later, my gf called to announce her pregnancy and last week Friday, my handsome bobo was born!

I ain't saying I'm a prophet neither do I call myself a soothsayer but guys make una no doubt am o
...Nigeria fit win world cup
. Same here bro, same here. The feelings keep getting stronger by the day.

So without him being tested in a one or two friendlies he then has an automatic spot to Russia. Is that Fair-Play and a level playing field

Is he a stand out player in the Bundesliga

He was man of the match against Bayern just a few weeks ago. He is a very decent defender.

I do not believe anyone will have an automatic shirt. The lure would be the chance to make the WC. The final camping/friendlies will decide who makes it.

It all boils down to the philosphy of the said team. Apart from the pace issue you've been stressing about. What other ability does fernandinho feature that Busquests doesn't posses the more?

Sergio is a better player as an obvious fact bro.

The word better player is too generalistic, in what respect is he better I am sure you can be more comprehensive in your answer.

Chai oga, you were waiting for one slip off from him just to type what you have had in mind.

Do you know how many errors balogun has made so far?
Same with Awanzie and Troost?

The 3 names I listed have tasted red cards this year alone, some caused goals (balogun and Troost), how come you didn't ask Rohr to replace them with the "German born"?

So far so good, Omerue has been one of the most consistent defenders this year and you want to sentence him just for one "not so good" performance as evidence on him?
At least they're doing well in the green jersey, which is the most important thing. Could such be said of Omeruo?

MFM lost 6:0.. The game is over
this kind of result only makes one question the football knowledge of our local coaches.

If you must concede, must you concede this much? Poor tactics/strategy.

No wonder most European clubs will always want npfl players to go on trial before signing them

Ola Aina, good going forward... Not that great, defensively..

He definitely needs to improve, caz I don't see him being played as a winger though.

Hopefully, Plateau United can pull through.

We are not very good at teaching defensive organization. How can you be 3:0 in 20 minutes?

let him stop using that excuse.

Were Iwobi and Moses not playing for English teams too when they pledged their international future to Nigeria? Were they sacked by their clubs?

They released, sorry, sacked you because you're not good enough. period.

Did you read the post at all?

Balogun's last match for us was a shamble, how about that?

Bro what you said is clear to everyone, whether you wrote it directly or indirectly, the direction of that statement speak for itself. i won't say more than that.

tbaba1234:

Where have I asked that Omeruo be replaced?? Stop misinterpreting my statements...

I simply said that He is down Rohr's pecking order below Ekong, Balogun and Awaziem and he is the one that is most likely to be replaced if it comes to it

That is clear to anyone, who has followed the team

Mr mind-reader, You inferred by yourself, what i had not written...

If you simply read and understood, instead of trying to assume the worst, we'd all be better for it.

I feel Balogun at his sharpest is our best defender but we need to get him to his best form.

All our defenders can make mistakes, Ekong is not the best passer, Balogun is slow, Awaziem is good but inexperienced, Omeruo has his unsure moments.. There is a reason why Rohr is looking for reinforcements.

That said, We have shown improved organization since Rohr took over. The performances against Cameroon, home and away were outstanding
