oluwarichie:I think moving down there is not just limited to having an international passport, other needs like invitation letter to one's destination and visa fee are also vital. This is what someone vaguely told me, he is not sure though. I need someone who has travelled from Lagos to Maputo to tell us how he/she did it successfully. 1 Like |

prettytolar:you're looking at it with Nigeria currency, our naira is useless, 1 Mozambique metica = 6 naira the price is the highest you could get a table water here. But normally it is sold at 28 meticais for a litre that's in Shoprite here, but at a local shop they sell for 25 meticais 2 Likes |

This is a nice thread. Not everyone must relocate to Europe, America and co. But op, one major issue you havent addressed is the language barrier. English isnt their official language last I checked. 3 Likes |

Aside having these requirements for travel to Moz.: International passport, return ticket, Invitation letter, what does a flight itinerary looks like? Let's say someone invited me at Moz. for a week, is it a must to return when the week completes or one can still stay for 30 days? |
Re: Nigerians Living In Mozambique by Nobody: 4:03pm On Mar 18, 2018 |
oluwarichie:It may be true but no matter how you look at it, you sure need some basic knowledge of the official language else how do you teach pupils that what they call "iwe" (book in Yoruba) is the same as "book" in english? 1 Like |

if you want to learn any language at your own pace use: www.duolingo.com i am improving already in portuguese language within a week. its a free online language teaching resource. I think the OP should share more on: how to secure permanent residence or extend one's visa in mozambique. i do not support the idea of over-staying visas in any country or living illegally. we should learn to respect laws of other nations. That way, you will be accorded proper treatment. felicidades (cheers) 3 Likes |

oluwarichie: i don't think that's mandatory. As a nigerian passport holder, you can travel to mz nd get stamped on arrival. book your ticket to mz here: www.travelstart.com.ng or any other genuine booking sites. i am not in mz. however, am considering travelling there soon ( i am very adventurous) . |
