I have been dropping newsbits and rumors about this possible move and I tell you I want it to happen.... cheesy Ndidi to Liverpool is a real possibility if they can match Leicester's asking price or reach a compromise in their bargain.

And yes Sir Tbaba, yes... Leicester should demand a Huge price... He won't and shouldn't come cheap for Liverpool. Infact, Ndidi should cost more than Naby Keita. Anything less than £50million is not good enough... Ndidi is worth that and above. Think 65-75 million sef. He could be Africa's most expensive player possibly but time will tell.

If Ndidi is fit, he is going to the WC.. There are only few slots left for grabs, the coach is basically working on tactics and strategies now.

I said "at least" 50 million..... But my updated post shows you the price I am even actually looking at for Ndidi... Between 65-75 million... He could be Africa's most expensive in history when this transfer is done. Who knows?

somehow:
You're a good as your last match. Omeruo did well in his last match for the GWG, same can't be said of Balogun.

If we are to even judge by club football, Omeruo has been consistently consistent this season than Balogun!

FACT!

Chelsea is a big team, can awaziem, Balogun or troosk bench any Chelsea defenders?

Now, can you beat that?

Sorry that this came late, been very busy and trying to catch up.
I know a player is as good as his last game but that saying doesn't always apply to players individual performances. Balogun is only experiencing a temporary dip in form for just the last few games. Omeruos case is far different as he's yet to impress in the team since 2014. His performance against Argentina was not bad, not really impressive either. It was just an average display average.

Oliseh Hails “World Class, Hugely Talented” Ndidi After FA Cup Clash
By James Agberebi

Former Super Eagles captain Sunday Oliseh has described Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as a world class player, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Oliseh stated this while responding to a tweet by BBC’s Sports reporter/ presenter John Bennett, who also hailed Ndidi following his impressive performance for Leicester in their 2-1 defeat to Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday.

Reacting to Ndidi’s display, Bennett wrote on Twitter: “Wilfried Ndidi is such a talented player. Wins the ball back with ease.

“Huge potential; only 21 and only been playing in that position for about 3 years. Will keep getting better.”
Replying to Bennett, Oliseh who coached Ndidi while he (Oliseh) was the head coach of the Super Eagles, wrote: “I really believe Wilfried Ndidi is world class! hugely talented and Lovely player.”

Oliseh played the central midfield role in the 1990s for the Super Eagles, the same position Ndidi is excelling in for the team currently.

Ndidi is expected to join up with his Super Eagles teammates on Monday for their two international friendlies against Poland in Warsaw and Serbia in London on March 23 and 27 respectively.

I remember how Makalele was underrated until he left Madrid and they crumbled. He was no Zidane or Figo or Beckham.. People only began to understand Makalele's value after he left madrid.

A lot of people look at flair, the flashy things. The guy who is scoring the 30 yarder or spreading passes. The kind of work put in by Ndidi in the first 45 minutes in particular was top top quality.

I think Ndidi is already world class, he just needs to move to a club that can win things.

REVEALED! How Poland Coach Nawalka Worked In Nigeria; Reasons He Endorsed Super Eagles Clash In Wroclaw
Special report from Poland, by Michal Zichlarz

There is one reason Poland coach, Adam Nawalka, wanted to play Nigeria before their opening match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia aginst Senegal – sheer sentiment, he has big admiration for Nigerian football, Complete Sports’ correspondence in Poland writes.

Not many Nigerians knew that Nawalka has once ‘worked’ in Nigeria. Not Many knew that he is an astute fan of Nigerian football. Here is the detail…

Anthony Egwuatu is a medical doctor – a gynecologist and endocrinologist, with two offices in Krakow and Kalwaria in Southern Poland. The Igbo man came to Poland 20 years ago, completed his medical study in Gdansk and stayed over here permanently.

Egwuatu is a doctor with good reputation, respect and esteem. However, his love is football. As a teeneger, he used to play in Lagos, but later decided to further his education. But his love for football stayed.

Living in Poland, he participated in some transfers of Nigerian footballers over here, and living in Krakow presented him with the opportunity of meeting Adam Nawalka, the current Poland head coach.

Nawalka and Zbigniew Boniek – one of the best Polish footballers in history and the present Polish Football Association (PZPN) president, were wonderful talents of the Polish football in in the 70s.

Nawalka represented Poland at the 1978 World Cup in Argentina alongside Boniek, playing five of the team’a six matches there. Although very talented, he couldn’t manage to make such a great career as Boniek’s due to the serious injuries he suffered.
He played for Wisla Krakow for several years and a few years in the USA. He later did football coaching training and became a coach.

Invitation to Nigeria

In 1999, Nawalka, as a Wisla Krakow’s scout, was invited to Nigeria by Dr. Anthony Egwuatu. His task was to comb Nigeria and find a decent striker for the top Polish club.
“He was a guest of my family and I must say that he was adored by everybody. My mum, till today, asks me, how is Adam?,” smiles Egwuatu.

The medical doctor adds, “He (Nawalka) was fluent in English, open-minded, friendly and easily made friends during his stay in Nigeria. He spent really good time in Nigeria. Of course, it was not a holiday, he came to Nigeria to spot talented players.”
.
During his stay in Nigeria, Nawalka started with the careful studying of daily newspapers. He asked his Nigerian friend for some dailies everyday as he searched for useful information that could help him make headway in his assignment.

Spotting Talented Nigerian Footballers

At that time, one of the best scorers in the Nigerian league was Kelechi Iheanacho (not the current Leicester City forward) from Enyimba of Aba.

Kelechi Iheanacho who still lives in Poland after retiring from football, takes up the story:
“As far as I know, Adam Nawalka found out in one of the newspapers that I was scoring lots of goals. He came to see me in action in Aba. That’s how Wisla Krakow later gave me a proposal to play for them,” says Iheanacho.

Iheanacho was later transferd to Poland from Julius Berger FC and started playing for Wisla Krakow in 1999.

Iheanacho adds: “Mr Nawalka was a very positive person, and he stood by me and my transfer to Poland. I spent a few years in Krakow before injury stopped me.

“And even though being injuried, Nawalka kept me as a coach at the club. He was a very open-minded person who was eager to learn. At that time, not many Polish people spoke English well like him. He was different,” recalls Iheanacho, who is now in football business while living in Poland capital, Warsaw, partnering with football agents and travelling a lot.

Nawalka moved around a lot too within Nigeria during his visit in March 1999. He went to Onitsha, where he met Chief Jude Ezechukwu (late), Jasper United president at that time.

This writer, as a journalist, had an opportunity to meet Chief Ezechukwu in 2005, during his stay in Nigeria, on the invitation of his close friend, Vincent Alumona, currently the owner of the sports business outfit, Krakovia Sports Ltd.

Chief Jude Ezechukwu, as Jasper United president, transfered some of the best Nigerian footballers to the Polish league at that time. In 1997, he transfered Kenneth Zeigbo to Legia Warsaw and Emmanuel Olisadebe – who later became a top striker of the Polish national team, to Polonia Warszawa. Eight years later Chief Ezechukwu complained in his office at Ajao Estate Lagos, that he still was not paid for those transfers – sometimes, a part and parcel of football business.

Poland’s Test Before Senegal

Dr. Anthony Egwuatu recalls that in 1999, Nawalka spoted some other Nigerian talents. Among them was Justice Christopher.

“Nawalka had an eye for the talented footballars. As far as I remember, he chose five players, who later played for the Super Eagles, among them was Justice Christopher, who later played for another Easter European club, Levski Sofia. It’s a pity that they didn’t play in Poland,” Egwuatu states.

The Nigerian medical doctor is still a friend of the Poland head coach and keeps in touch with him. And he knows how much invaluable the Super Eagles friendly is to Nawalka before he leads Poland out in Russia to face an African opposition in Senegal.

“When Poland drew Senegal in the World Cup and it was known that their first match will be against the African team, Adam opted for playing against Nigeria in a friendly, the country he likes a lot,” Egwuatu explains.

“That trip in 1999 was a great experience for Nawalka, leaving lots of good memories. He is very happy to have the Super Eagles now for a very important pre-World Cup friendly match. ”

Meaning he left Lobi two seasons ago?

Thank you my brother. That has been the trend here for some.

Some players are selected for criticism and some others for praise not matter what they play.

People cannot see a spade and call it what it is.
why are you people acting like nobody blamed Kelechi?

Of the first five comments on that goal, only one person blamed Mahrez

I feel like someone is always waiting on the sidelines to accuse people of blindly supporting Kelechi, even when the comments are even and others just corroborate because it is natural to accuse Nigerians of having sentiments

Dede even said Kelechi had 25% fault while Mahrez had 60%....if we translated that to jail time, Kelechi would have 3 years to Mahrez' 7 years.

Why is it that many of you are quick to bury our players at the slightest fault?

Some are making it seem like Mahrez was not even on the pitch. It was only after the likes of Supernerd broke down everything that happened that some people mentioned Mahrez being partly to blame.

You people should stop acting like nobody says a word of criticism on Kelechi. Maybe, I should go back and screenshot all the criticisms he took as soon as Leicester conceded, maybe una skip that part and only saw the exonerations since you people do selective reading here

I for one blamed Iheanacho for the poor pass and also Mahrez for not being able to make the best out of that situation. I think only one other person saw reasons with me. The majority completely put the blame on Mahrez.

You have been long enough on this thread to have known my kind of comments. Look, I say things the way they are.

I don't care if anyone joins me in the course or likes my comments or not.

You that believed Iheanacho was partly at fault why didn't you say it?

I don't belong to the group that pledge loyalty to any player or group of players. Nobody is paying for my data so I owe no player or any school of thought any allegiance.

People should learn to say things the way they are.

Please post those screenshots if you want to.

Whilst Mahrez carries the major fault for the goal, Nigerians are more interested in Kelechi not Mahrez.. That is why, there was more comments about Kelechi misplaced pass.

I like Kelechi a lot but i think, some people over praise him.

A honest analysis of Kelechi performance can not be done without argument. For some, he can do little wrong.. Some are sometimes over-critical.

It is like criticizing the NPFL. Some do not want to hear one critical word..
