Banking on startimes they showed the last friendly against Argentina

Femi Olajere called in during a sport show on raypower says Nigerians will see the match... Said everything will be sort out latest Wednesday

So I'm hopeful.

Let's wait and see sha.. I'm in Ogun state now,and unless any viewing centre here will show it,I might miss it... the network in this area isn't so good for streaming

I don't think is necessary for Rohr to use the 3-5-2 formation, tactically Poland is not a free flowing footballing team, they play direct football, those long balls will cause problems us if we use that formation
Nice point but I think its important to master that formation. It is very promising judging by the last game and it could be a weapon in disguise for us in the WC

I won't lie to you shaa... Kante will edge it in key passes.

Thanks bro.

Also compute aerial battles won, interceptions and tackles made, number of passes, more emphases on key passes. Now this is what is called being objective with ur arguments.

I feel there's no need inviting Joel to this WC buildup... The guy is too injury prone.
Even if he successfully makes the WC squad there's still an issue of injury for the coaching crew to fear during the tournament. And that's one wastvof space.

Ezenwa in Eagles second batch out to Poland today

Goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa and some other officials including assistant coach Imama Amapakabo will fly out this night for a World Cup warm-up in Poland.

Ezenwa was in goal for Enyimba in a CAF Confederation Cup clash against Energie FC of Benin Republic in Calabar Sunday.

The first batch of officials flew out from Abuja on board Luftansa Sunday and they included coach Salisu Yusuf and team administrator Dayo Enebi.

The Super Eagles will take on fellow World Cup qualifiers Poland on Friday in Wroclaw as part of their preparations for the World cup in Russia in June.

They also face another World Cup-bound team Serbia in London four days later.

Impressed with who,so they think Ezenwa is better than Fatauo Dauda, they must be on long thing.

I can tell anyone who care to listen that Ezenwa is not better than Ajiboye,Olorunleke Ojo and Femi Thomas but still have Cameroon and Zambia match going for him in the national team, nothing more.

Hope Uzoho nail it and Shaking Akpeyi shrug off field fright but am seeing a keeper gatecrashed into the team and likely home based.

Not one to jump in much but I wanna point out to you that Sir TheGoodJoe and I already deciphered his purpose on this thread since last year. He made a very disdainful comment that prompted myself and Sir TheGoodJoe to truly question whether he wants the best for Nigerian football. We only indulge him further because we are accommodative and try to focus on his fine side as a knowledgeable person "on other matters" but his negativity reeks of odorous odorousness, malignant sardonically-induced comments and his pessimism is an upgrade on the word "pessimism" itself... This guy sees nothing good in our football. The only good and bright thing to him are the foreign euro-flavors especially the English Euro flavor... "the borough club" wink

I am really surprised you are still asking our fine gentleman Komekn what his purpose is when it is so f**king obviously written on the wall.

Komekn comes in the robes of a gentleman with coded sesquipedalianic grandeur to rubbish the rise of a true Golden generation in Nigerian football and render them bunch of jokers... He comes to deceive and sway the heart of Nigerians reading this thread to see that our Nigerian team is so low on quality in fact that we stand not a chance of becoming a super force in time....

But for every negative voice, there is also a voice mightier and more powerful because it reigns from the positive mountain tops and stoops down to clear out any negative weed like the Eagle King swoops to take its prey with Grace and power into the air....

In DC Comics, we have the Justice league who stand against the villains and agents of chaos and negativity. Seeking to inspire and provide hope of a brighter and greater tomorrow and world.

In Marvel, we got the Avengers.... And they do just same. Standing for a better world and for Progress.

On this thread we got "the League of Extraordinary Eagles" (Aka Eagulians/Eaglelians... in Sir Congo4ka's voice... Lol) to stand against the wiles of malignant mockery and negativity against our young generation's rise to golden greatness...

He (Komekn) can dance all he wants on this thread masked behind his gentleman robes and using Queen's English to sound sensible and truthful... But behind that mask is a voice that reeks of so much negativity and subtle mockery on Nigeria's current young generation of footballers.

See ehn... I know he will come out and start telling me to "prove" beyond "reasonable" doubt his negativity... When it is obvious to all or let me say "Most of us". Well, I won't blame him shaa... sad "Color blindness" is quite a deceiver sometimes. *Shrugs*

What can you say to a man who sees things only in English-tinted colors.. His rods and cones have been obviously overcome with a condition called "Boroughocolomia". A special kind of Color blindness I must say... And quite rare in the field.

Ah well.... Cheers everyone... And cheers to you Sir Komekn...
Is this not that malicous man in the movie "Saw"?

Yes you are right but the fans were not impressed with his performance compared to their first choice Dauda.

Enyimba won the match with late penalty awarded with scoreline 3-2 though they won the first leg 2 nil.

But facebook live streaming doesn't take me up to 400mb.

It all boils down to the video quality of the streaming site or app.. mobdoro comes with ultra high definition mode.. while Facebook live stream u can choose high definition mode which i guess doesn't cost that much
Mobdro has many sports channels, pls which one will show Nigeria Poland match?

Yes... I know that. And I knew someone will point this out but what I didn't wanna mention in much details is that his own was so bad. His positioning gaan sef was zero. Chaaaiii... Atrocious goalkeeping from Ezenwa on a couple of occasions in the game. I fortunately saw a good part of the match report from a source close to me and it is no different from the one below by Dami Ugbame of KweseESPN. Just no wan give myself high bp biko. Make friday kuku come.

Dami Ugbame's KweseESPN extract:

Okonkwo shines, Ezenwa struggles for Enyimba: Chinonso Okonkwo was undoubtedly the standout Enyimba player against Energie of Benin Republic, as the People's Elephant progressed to the Confed Cup play-off round.
The attacking midfielder netted a brace and could have easily helped himself to a hat-trick in the 3-2 home win during a thoroughly excellent display.
While Okonkwo was clearly delighted without his outstanding contribution, the same couldn't be said for Ikechukwu Ezenwa, whose Enyimba debut could best be described as shaky.
The Nigeria international goalkeeper conceded two goals against the Beninoise team, including a direct free kick, and generally failed to replicate the commanding performances of Fatau Dauda.
It was a worrying performance by the stopper, who's expected to be Nigeria's Number One at the upcoming World Cup. On the basis of this showing, Gernot Rohr may be set for a few sleepless nights between now and the summer.

What to expect from Poland..

1. Rarely keep clean sheets.. Poland kept only 2 clean sheets in the European qualifiers.. They seem to always concede.

2. Lewandowski is key... He does everything for poland, freekicks, penalties, everything!!

3. They win a lot of penalties... Expect Lewandowski to go down if you give him a reason to.

4.Corner kicks are dangerous.. This game will be good practise for defending corners.
Whao Lewandowski remind me of exploit of Nigeria born EMMANUEL OLISADEBE who played for Poland and singlehandedly took polish team to WC scoring 8 goals out of total 10.

Emma is a good friend who started his football career playing on bare ground of university of Ilorin in the 90s,I remember our time together playing departmental games, faculty cup,VC cup,NUGA games, and Governor's cup in Ilorin metropolis.

Emma Olisadebe was born footballer and very rear to see such a star in the university,he played for fun not even thinking of becoming professional talk less of playing for a national team especially European national team cos he loved super eagles with a passion.

Olisadebe rise to prominent started when he was discovered by university of Ilorin school coach Amusa Adisa ex international and former eagles assistant coach who discovered the likes of Vincent Enyeama,Austin Ejide,Dele Aiyenugba and Seyi Olofinjana.

He became a rising star in international football when he was invited for world university game with the likes of Seyi Olofinjana, old war horse Olaolu Ashaolu,Yemi Akinyanju,Edith Agoye.

Coach Fanny Amu was the head coach of Nigeria to world university game and really surprised to see such a talented player in the university, to the extent highest goals scorer in Nigeria league Edith Agoye need to sit on the bench for Olisadebe at university games in Italy.

After university games coach Fanny Amu with assistance of coach Adisa convinced Emma to play for Jasper United and Jude Ezechuckwu came down to Ilorin to appeal to Emma.He had a season with Jasper and left for Poland, waited patiently for national call but wasn't considered,he opted for Polish team.

He turned polish team to a dreaded team and ensured they qualified for 2002 WC as one of the highest goal scorer in Europe. He had a WC goal against USA and won Poland sportman of the year, also nominated for world footballer of the year.

I think we still have players like Emma Olisadebe in our various tertiary institutions but left for our local coaches to discover such rare talents.
