thank you wonderful mum for taking out time to reply. the Holy Spirit told me today after writing the post about my son that I should stop complaining and give thanks on his behave. brief introduction about this son of mine. he was born via elective cs by 38weeks dot. when I was opened up he didn't come out. two doctors had to push my tummy down like trying to deliver placenta before he was able to stick out his neck. when he did, all the medical team were shouting blood of Jesus.he had cord round his neck three times and the fourth time was knotted. after the cord was cut off and he was separated from me. he didn't cry. it took up to 10mins for him to bed resuscitated.he weighed 3kg but was very skinny like a premature child. his fontanelle was sunken and he was so dehydrated and looking scrary with a triangle face. we were advised to add formula.so far as at 10 weeks immunization he weighed 5.5kg.at 6weeks he weighed 4.5kg.the doctor that took his delivery told me that if he had stayed to 39 weeks I wouldn't have had him alive. I told God I'm sorry for not being grateful for sparing his life rather selfish to complain about his size. through it all I've learnt to bed thankful from today. sorry for this long epistle.make unable join me thank God.

Thank God for sparing his life....in everything we must give thanks. He may not be as chubby as you want him to be but surely he's growing and hitting his milestones. That's enough to be grateful

Abeg my baby is 1year+2weeks now and still wakes up several times at night to breastfeed, please what can I give her at night because she doesn't accept cereal at that time

Secondly shsnt walking yet and I'm kind of worried, she conveniently moves around holding something but to stand on her own or waka she no fit, is it that she scared of something, I see younger kids walking

Mine weighed 4.6 at 10weeks
Birth weight was 2.7

Mother in the house if your baby is struggling with dry skin, sensitive skin and rashes like my Ds was maybe you should try oilatum baby cream, it's in a tube form, it did wonders for my baby so I just have to share.

@ olamitie

I posted something on this not up to a month ago about my baby. He stood and walked and 15 months. Same week, was cruising around holding things prior to this just like yours. He's creche chairman now. You will think he has been walking from ages past. lol, dont sweat it. She will walk when she wants to

Hello mamas.

I'm sorry to derail the purpose of this thread.

Pls can someone give me tips about the IUD/IUC Contraceptive?

The Jadelle i got is giving me serious cramps,waist/back ache & spotting for the past 2weeks!

Went to the hospital today and when i told my Gyea/Doc about it,he said i should still watch it for a little while more and that "it will even make me fat"(don't know how true this is).

I'm thinking of switching to the IUD.

The Jadelle's discomfort is too much!

Please,don't read and pass mas.

Thanks in anticipation

I don't think walking matters in this whole equation cuz some people wean before baby can sit sef. I think taking him to your mum's is a good idea esp if you live in the same city, I think he'd eat there and you can always go get him back if he's still not eating. But two weeks is sha too long, try a week.

Same boat with you sis. I have been spotting for over 2 weeks on and off. When i enter sun, that spot on my arm gets itchy, (no infection), i even developed infection (i think) its totally related cause my neighbour is experiencing thesame symptom. The wahala is plenty, i went back to remove it and put IUD instead but i was asked to give it time. The explanation was, its a foreign object that has been placed and once our bodies get used to it, symptoms will normalise. So i was given like a month to come if all is not well, especially the spotting best believe i'm taking it out.

For Q1, try tea. I use 123 peak and milo. Although my daughter got used to it and woke up at night till she was 2. For my 2nd daughter, she stopped waking up at night to feed from 4m.(this one i didn't do ebf) so i guess the formula was filling. Cheers

Nursing and walking don't have anything to do with one another ma'am,you can go ahead,he will walk when he is ready but weaning should be a gradual process to avoid engorgement and to also allow him to adjust physically and emotionally,,,two weeks is too much o

Follow queensow description to get to the ambode phc, i feel that one will be straightforward and easy to locate for you. You should be able to get the vaccination on a tuesday. If you have further questions, pls feel free

Thanks God bless.
