That meansvone of them will play as an AM
Depends on Rohr formation but how i wish he throw in Joel but not in Rohr style to give new player a starting.

Good line up but am seeing Ogu starting and Joel Obi as sub in the 2nd half

Victor Moses is useless and a waste on the Right - its open knowledge

Play him from the left and see a deadly machine
Exactly, l think this is why he is ineffective in attack for Chelsea, he should switch roles with Allonso, but then Allonso is also not very convincing to me as a wing back.

Well none of Ndidi, Onazi, or Ogu offer so much in attacking midfield. Except they can surprise us though.

Big fat lie! ... Except you started watching them today.

Each of these 3 players you called are naturally attack minded and could either score or provide an assist when you least expect it.

Onazi - everyone here knows he likes taking outside shots and scores too once in a while. He has several assists to his name.

Ogu - We all know how much power shots he packs on his left foot, and he is accurate too.

Ndidi - Right footed player but believes more on his left foot when it comes to taking long ranger shots. He has several assists to his name too.

Overall, these are DMs but with great attacking mindset, bullish in tackles and aggressive rebounds after losing possession in our opponent's final third.

I think it all depends on Rohr formation but with 4-3-3 formation i think the trio should be able to do it.

Just trying to accommodate him though.. Might go for ebuechi on a normal day..

Rohr cant just left Vic Moses in bench... Just my thinking though

for me i want us to test a 4-4-4 or 3-5-2 this formation are good for counter attacking football, since we have young guys whom are quick, fast, and energetic i think it would be to our advantage ..... Against Argentina the back three of the argetines just could not cope with the speed at which Nigeria move from defense to offence. This formation is good for counter attacking football we have the youngest squad so it should be to our advantage....

4-4-2

............. Uzoho ...............

.. Shehu Ekong Balogun/Omeruo Idowu

.. V.Moses Ndidi Onazi/Ogu Iwobi/S Moses

........ ... ........... Ighalo Ihenacho

................ 3 - 5 - 2 ......................

... Ekong Balogun Omeruo

Ebuehi........ . ................. V.Moses

.. .............. Ndidi Onazi/Ogu

.. .............. J.Obi

........ . ihenacho Ighalo/Iwobi

I honestly Do not want us to play a 4-3-3 in the world cup, the formation works when you have a wonderfull front 3 like liverpool, Madrid and they are usually not good defensively, although its also a good counter counter attacking formation but the, defensive disvadvantages imight be too costly.... Omeruo is way better than balogun in recent form, but because of the partnership ekong and balogun has formed ROHR might not want to disrupt it....
I totally agree with you bro... 3-5-2/ 4-4-2 (counter-attack is the real deal)

They do not initiate attack often, their default position is behind the attacking midfielder(all three of them). When we are under pressure for instance, their primary instinct would be to track back and defend often rather than think of ways to initiate attack.
Mickel is also defense minded like the three, but we all know he started playing as an attacking midfielder, so the AM role comes to him naturally, also we have seen joel obi move forward more often in Torino.
Can you say thesame of the trio?

Two of Ndidi best games was without Onazi. So it does reinforce my point - one over the other.

It doesn't because we have only lost once with that combo

Good afternoon gbogbo ile.

Been reading this thread for the past 15-20 pages and I'm overwhelmed. I've always been a Nigerian supporter, even when they kept disappointing us, until recently that Rohr changed everything, for good.

I'm happy to be here, at least, this is a family of people who want good for the national team, and care about it. Same with me.

cheesy

Like I tell people, even though it's not realistic for Nigeria to win the WC, I'm supporting them to win it anyway, till we're out before I change gear. Come rain, come Sunshine, team Nigeria for life.

this is a near perfect possible line up; but don't you think it will be better if iwobi plays the CMF role while both Moses Simon and Victor Moses operate from the flanks? Leaving Ahmed Musa and nacho as options in the second half.

This is simple Joel Obi is coming newly into the team and as it now we have Mikel,Ndidi,Onazi,Ogu,Etebo even Agu ahead, his performance in GWG would do the talking not Torino performance.

He has work to do to displace the aforementioned midfielders who are not new to Rohr and to be candid Ogu and Etebo need to sit tight cos Joel has all it require to displace them.
