nessot: When we were saying it here that ZENITH was still very much a good BUY, some persons were probably carried away by the many views of an impending Armageddon. The last pull back merely presented an easy route for the shrewd ones to make some money from the fearful ones without a strategy. ...more like taken back from them what they didn't know/appreciate the inherent value. Lets hope that this will serve out some lessons to a few. |

Fake rally.Holding one of the big banks tight.Incase the price fluctuates,I chop the dividend and raise my hope again. Where is fcmb and Diamond banks results?Hope people will be able to stand JANET when the audited results finally burst.I will still stay at my usual joint waiting for these two stocks because I am seeing fake movement on them now. 2 Likes |

There are TOO MANY Traders on this board (knowingly and unknowingly) and NOT ENOUGH Investors. This hampers good discourse and encourages impatient investing. Hopefully, more investors will come to the fore and make their presence felt. 2 Likes |

The online trading platform has made almost everyone a trader. The era of waiting till year end to collect tasere dividend is long gone. My money must sweat everyday if possible. pa Emma, Oga Wanajo, Oga RabbidOracle and many others can choose to be long term. They have combined portfolio value in billions. The arbitrage in daily movement sometimes are too good to ignore. tiar: |

rebekah2011: My definition of INVESTOR has no reference to dividend stocks or seeking dividend. It is the ability to directly or indirectly (through the help of a proven professional) to invest in companies that are undeservedly (not based on emotion or likeness of the company's owner) trading below their fair value as referenced by near term performance expectations. Intermittent ups and downs in prices do not bother you as the value will reveal itself when it is ready. Your interest is to take a position and acquire the company's shares up to the demand you seek given that you have caught on early to the under the radar intrinsic value. Other market participants continue to look elsewhere until one day the stock takes off and people start scratching their head in bewilderment. Cheers 4 Likes |

Case closed. he will change strategy. i hope we can have a fund like what Warren Buffet manages. Have a significant stake in almost all the big businesses in Nigeria. Dangote Cement, GTB, Zenith, Nestle, First bank. Sit on the Board and put them on the edge. Agbalowomeri: |

You are always funny. i am not even looking up to dat amount. Just give me N50m and I will retire. But the moment I get the N50m I will want to make more. Aliko dangote has proven over and over again that there are many opportunities in this Country to make money. Unfortunately there are many greedy people managing most businesses in Nigeria. Peter Amangbo was asked to shed more light on the 2.7b that Zenith will have to cough out annually to oviation Ltd. He simply said that there are not more to disclose other than what has been put out in the financials. But with us on the Board we can choose to act differently. Agbalowomeri: 1 Like |
