U dnt have to cook avocado,just mash.... steaming d Apple is to make it soft for blending,my baby is 15m n i still steam before blending to get Smooth puree but guess u can try it out without steaming n see if u get d same result.

No need to cook the avocado. For apple puree, steam then blend. I haven't tried that other route.

Whenever my baby is sleeping and I decide to do all manners of chores, the sound won't disturb him and he will sleep peacefully. washing machine, open and close bathroom door,sweep and mop the floor. Even the sound from the woman grinding pepper beside my house won't wake him. lemme finish all this chores and decide to lie down with him like this, he will opens his eyes. Abeg is it their sense of smell or what ? this happens a lot and keeps me wondering.

Stop the zinc. What I did was give my baby the Nestle water with zinc, that's what he's been drinking since birth. But I didn't do exclusive. I guess you can consider taking zinc supplements yourself so she gets it in her breastmilk

Vitamin C sef you take it and let her get in her milk. Look for breastfeeding mum supplements, they should contain all these extras

Thanks I usually do the boiling of Apple b4 blending just thought I could puree it without cooking which I did and it came out just fine

Enque, heat pressed is better. The oil is darker nd smells nicer and the cocobuty smell lasts longer compared with cold pressed.

There is no thought that babies are indeed bundle of joy, but sometime we mothers/fathers face so many challenges raising our kids, so i want us to use this avenue to discuss any issue concerning them(our kids) here!!!!!! For example, my 8weeks old boy sleeps only 6 hours @ night but seems to enjoy more time sleeping during the day, but i must confess am not too happy about it at all, but what every1 is saying its normal.......... Nairalanders Is this normal?

I wish mine would have that kinda sleeping pattern. She sleeps max 3 hours during the day (two 2hour or less naps) and 7-10 hours at night, while waking up like 200 times to suck.

My baby woke up today just coughing non-stop, like how people with allergies start sneezing and can't stop, that's how she was coughing. She's stopped now sha after two hours and making her drink warm water, palm kernel oil, cough syrup, and steam inhalation cuz she has catahr too. I'm so tired of this particular cough cuz two hospitals and two courses of antibiotics and it's still here. At least I get to miss work and watch big brother again today. Sansa143, I'm finally back on Whatsapp cuz Hunniesuzzie convinced me I can't live without it in the 21st century. Pls say hi there cuz I can't find ur contact again.
