I won't say very solid, but he did improve. If we meet a team that have a knack for scoring early goals, it might just affect team morale. Overall, glad that he improved. Wondering the kind yeye Ezenwa for Don play by now.

This is probably his first game in front of such a crowd. He did very well.

joel obi is not near to be a replacement to mikel, he played rubbish today couldnt hold the ball or manage to keep it on the ground, the guy na big flop joor.

mosses has a mental issue, too selfish, doesnt pass and when he manages to cross na empty space this is unprofessional.
i think Moses needs a partner in crime that understands him in the team, like the Emenike-Ideye pair.

I noticed that after he dribbled, no one came out to receive him pass, no one. I have a problem though, he is selfish. and we don't need this at the mundial where we would be punished for that.

good angle, our defenders have improved in their comfy kinda passing and accuracy.

Balogun is low on confidence, he would have made mistakes if he was at CB. He did well at LB though.

Too poor. Both in delivery and utilisation.
Just when I thought we've solved that aspect.... well I pray we sharpen and refine that aspect of our game. Sucks that we rarely make teams fear our setpiece.

Vic Moses. .

This guy just showed Chelsea what they 're missing by deploying him as a wingback..

All praise to the almight papa rohr for his confidence and good management skills.

The only positive from this game was the defence and goalkeeper, if not i dont we did anything good, no connection between the defenders and attackers, no coordination in the midfielder, I bet if that balogun clearance had been counted ( cos it was clearly a goal) we wouldnt have been saying mosses sabi dribble.

To me mosses played like a slowpoke, he is not a good teamplayer at all, only releases ball when he is under pressure, and that free kick shld av been taken by iheanacho.

I knew someone would bring up this x factor thing immediately Moses scored that penalty. grin

But truth be told Moses can be a big influence in this team; he just needs to improve more.
What do you .mean? He was the chief terrorist to the Polish defence!

Well, i said a PK is going to be in the match and there we had it but on the other side grin
I said at least 2 goals, 1 was allowed and one disallowed.

So sir, which debate are we having?

AllforJesus7:
somehow :
Whatever happens today, remember that this is a friendly match.
I expect at least 2 goals.
A PK might show up against us.
Apart from Mikel, the 1st 11 shouldn't have issues showing us what to expect in Russia come June.

Somehow can you come in now for the debate? grin

I said so didn't I? We will cancel out most European teams we play against in terms of technique. Poland is 6th on the FIFA ranking and we beat them at home.

Add the pivot of Mikel to our midfield and we are good to compete.

Only concern is set pieces and goal keeping. Uzoho will come good ( I doubt we will find another quality goalie before WC). Today's experience is vital for him and he settled into the game in the 2nd half.

Quote me again after the Serbia game. grin

Poland is actually very good. Today was a bad day for them. Either of two teams could easily have won it by 2-1. Nigeria just didn’t give up. They chased every ball and didn’t show signs of fatigue till the final whistle.

This match should not be used to judge either of the two sides.
We played against Argentina una say don't judge. We play against Poland now una say don't judge. Which kain wahala be this now. Omo, I go judge oo, I go judge.

balogun was a CB oo, infact i rate him better than ekong, ekong dont know how to pass but clears the ball.

the positive was just the defence, I didnt see any pressure from the polish, they were just nodding the ball to the ground.

Too be honest, I wasn't expecting us to win this game..ppl should rmbr we are playing a #6 team in front of their home crowd..difficult place to grind result..

Ekong really gave a captains performance tonight, we dearly missed Mikel, to say to hold the ball and transition defense to attack..

Uzoho needs more high intensity games like this to improve his confidence..he did a good job and the defense protected him well but I'm just afraid of the level of intensity at the world cup..I hope he doesnt succumb..

Moses is our star player but he needs to learn how to lead and not be selfish..he didn't have to take all set pieces with Iheanacho presence..I hope they practise more and the coach decide who the best is for those freekicks..

That penalty was a clear dive, yes there was a little contact but no enough to get him down. You guyz see the dribbles and win, i see mistakes he made that would av been a potential goal.

know that poland's goal was a clear one, next time when result dont come in our favor dont complain oo.
