I am still that Rohr does not want to hype this team..How can he say he has no game winner? What did Vic Mo do today? Those saying THAT HE WAS SELFISH,SOMETIMES YOU NEED THAT TO LIFT YOUR TEAM. No player in our team ever attempted to dribble the Poles in the box..This guy did it twice and got a penalty and a rare corner. Who else had the liver? 4 Likes |

Perspective: Poland was at home. We practically played and defeated a Lewandowski-led Polish side in front of a 42,000 polish crowd. Not a small deal! 12 Likes |

Iheanacho----V.poor Ighalo.-----a fighter,performance wise slightly above average Shehu-----average Ekong-----good Moses----could av been average, but d goal saved him(cos goals count)..overall performance (good) Iwobi-----v.poor Balogun----Good Idowu----average Joel----average Onazi----average Ndidi----slightly above average Ebuehi-----for d little time spent(average) Simon----not rated Ogu----not rated Omeruo---Average Uzoho---average(not yet convinced abt his confidence level).d world cup is a different ball game,bin d last man of defense, any slight mistake, we re out. 3 Likes 1 Share |

When he doesn't bring goals I want to see him do lots of pressing. He didn't do that today either. Poor.. we have no choice but to settle for false nines. It's a good thing we tried a different formation today. Rohr is doing a great job. abbey086: 1 Like |

COOL10: For real bro, the guy fine eh.. ..I feel he could have displaced Shehu if he had accepted the first call up he got.. Shehu doesn't play at RB a his club and I'm afraid it's affecting his performance in the role..or maybe he was just playing to Rohr's instruction tonight.... Well sha, there is still Serbia to play.maybe Ebuhehi and Aina will start .. As for Uche Agbo,I'm beginning to pity him ooo 2 Likes |

This is football and what matters is the final result.. their will always be mistakes, Vic Moses delivered a top notch performance with a well taken penalty kick that left the keeper paralyzed..and all he gets is one ingrate fan calling him a slowpoke 12 Likes |

lexyman: This is the worst match i have ever watched, no decent midfielder to hold the ball, i can never rewatch this match, it was rubbish, that penalty and disallowed goal just helped us. But if this result was a world cup game i wld have been happy, but if we play this way in the world cup, am sorry for us. 1 Like 1 Share |

Super Eagles Player Ratings Vs Poland : Victor Moses, Uzoho, Balogun, Ekong The Standouts Published: March 23, 2018 A penalty goal from Victor Moses was just enough for the Super Eagles to see off Poland in their friendly encounter at the Stadion Mjejski in Wraclow on Friday evening. But how did every one of the Eagles fare? Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho: Made a hoax of a cross which nearly allowed Krychowiak to prod over the line but for Balogun's clearance. Looked tensive in stretches though his point blank save to deny Lewandowski was phenomenal. 8/10 Defenders Shehu Abdullahi: Pushed up from right and looked to instigate attack. Came off for Tyronne Ebuehi after some discomfort. 7/10 William Troost-Ekong: Marshalled the backline with his sturdy challenges and always put his body on the line. 8/10 Leon Balogun: Failed to track down Robert Lewandowski who struck the woodwork in the opening stages before making a crucial goal line clearance. A satisfactory performance though. 8/10 Brian Idowu: Did his fair share of defensive contribution but offered very little going forward. 7/10 Midfielders Wilfred Ndidi: Was full of life in the midfield battle though passing was erratic. 7/10 Joel Obi: Added a physical edge to his game and always looked to connect with the attackers. 7/10 Alex Iwobi: Showed flashes of brilliance and tricky footwork down the left flank but final balls came to nothing. Came off in the second half for Ahmed Musa. 7/10 Victor Moses: Went on a few mazy runs but failed to break down a resilient Polish defence. Picked himself to convert from the spot after he was felled in the area. 8/10 Attackers Kelechi Iheanacho: Was largely kept quiet and drifted backward to pick up stray balls. Was replaced by John Ogu in the closing stages. 6/10 Odion Ighalo: Always looked to get in behind Kalil Glik and Kaminski and held up the ball on occasions. 7/10 Substitutes Ahmed Musa: Went on his trademark runs during his short time on the pitch though nothing spectacular was carved out. 5/10 Ogenyi Onazi: Helped shore up middle after coming on with keeping passing simple. 5/10 Kenneth Omeruo: Brought on to help curtail the Poland attack. 5/10 Tyronne Ebuehi: Helped the defence to hold onto their slender advantage though had very little to do. John Ogu: Merely added fresh legs after coming on. Moses Simon: Spent very little time on the pitch to be scrutinized. If Mikel odogu was on the pitch today, the polish people would have felt the impact of our attack and we would have scored more than a goal. That I am very certain off. This game was almost like our last world Cup qualifier against Algeria that mikel wasn't present. Good defense but poor transition from midfield to attack. Serbia go collect on Tuesday 7 Likes |

1. Very decent result playing away from home. 2. Team showed grit and determination even when not making good transitions. 3. Uzoho is the number 1.. Excellent second half.. Enyeama was jittery against England in 2002 but made one fantastic save.. He was number 1 for more than a decade. Uzoho showed that he has it in him after a jittery first half. This is his first time in front of such a crowd. 4. Joel Obi. good showing but a Mikel would have made him look a lot better.. We were not having good transitions. 5. Expect a more vocal Nigerian support in London and a better game. 6.Ekong and Balogun are still the best pairing.. We might see Awaziem in London though. 7. Ebuehi is our best right back by a mile. He does the simple things very well. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

I predicted a 1-2 in favour of Nigeria, but still, we were fortunate to go away with a goal. Nice, performance from the young eagles! Hoping for significant improvement. On the other hand, I think Rohr knows what he's doing. The interview he had says a lot. Let's look forward a more better game againt Serbia in London next Tuesday. The Land is Green! 2 Likes |

I will rate Iheanacho a C. Shehu was not bad today. He coped with this tough European challenge. Onazi most likely played an advanced role after Ogu's introduction. darkelf: |
