these are wingers/strikers not attacking midfielders

I hope u meant European groomed. Ok
Are they not Europeans, well with the exception of Idowu if it's true Russia doesn't allow citizens hold two passports.

ok i get what you are saying but off my head available attacking midfielders now are aluko and nwakali
And Aluko is out of favour while Nwakali is not yet matured.
That's why Mikel is very, very essential to our dear SE.

ok i get you now..yeah you are right major reason is injury(but cant blame them though)
It's why Brazil fell at 2014. This would help us alot too. Rohrs is just trying to let the team seem humble and normal with his comments. no doubt he is just doing his job. But we know also that this team have improved well. Especially passes at the backline.

he doesn't have a name yet doesn't mean he isn't a better dribbler.. There are many players in leagues that dribbles better than Moses but don't have the name yet we can't say because they aren't known yet then automatically they aren't better dribbler. Most people here will admit they were interested in onyekwuru because of his dribbles and goal scoring capabilities. If there is any other you can tell me?

If u can dribble better than Moses u will definitely have a name. Moses is up there with the best.

nope, they played same position, just that joel was overhyped before the match, the ball he got and shot wide was so unnecessary, i think he should start next match in the attacking position with ndidi - joel - ogu, ogu will help slow things down and hold the ball a bit longer.

OK

Name an attacking midfielder we should have gotten to replace, do you think Nigeria is Chelsea were we can afford to buy fabregas because we need a midfielder
So you're insinuating that some of the DMs should and can play as makeshift AMs even when its glaring that such player is not present in the team?

All I'm saying is if any Midfielder must be invited it should be an AM because of our dire need of creativity in the middle of the park. Simple

I think Balogun and Ekong partnership reassured us of something great with yesterday performance especially Balogun compared to his last two games in Eagles colour.Ekong keep on improving per match.

Sir why so much emphasis on Omeruo clearance though poor clearance but remember Ekong despite his good performance had the worst clearance yesterday inside 18 yard box.

Thank you for this, we make it look like some players are allow to have slipoff but others are not

You are making a point but you put it in a wrong way. You want to win, at the same time you want to pick your best players for the WC. Decisions are made with the above goals in mind. Rorh will not cheat Joel. To what end na?

gamaliel9:
Rohr cheated Joel Obi by playing him in deep defensive midfield....How? Changed him with Onazi ,then plays him[Onazi] in attacking midfield. Our Joel should be allowed to move forward....he is a natural attacking midfielder

I guess you are Rohr assistant to notice all this, Joel is not an attacking midfielder in torino, go back and check his games

errrm i actually complain about lots of DM in our team but thinking about it that is what is available..recruiting makes it sound like this is club football where one recruits players but in in international football you make use of what is available to you

But bro, it's had to fathom that in a world filled with billions of people, we can't find one more creative midfielder.

It's disheartening mehn. But we'll, the coaches and scouts that keep one inviting DMFs with low creative IQ know best.

But Mikel agu. Haaaa.

Let's give him one more chance sha

I repeat it,if we play Croatia the way we played Poland,we will beat them hands down. Those Croats are tired legs..At a stages the Poles were panting...our speed and energy were amazing. I think our boys can run for 120minutes ....what a machine.

U were happy he committed the foul? Why didn't u also acknowledge that he was on the front foot when that ball came in? And how a player who was a meter or too behind him, out paced him to the ball and he resorted to fouling. In a competitive match, that would be yellow.

but I clearly was talking about the foul. U guys should stop acting like players must be perfect, in a game u are bound to get beat to a ball or two. If he had got a yellow it would have been a good yellow to get because it stopped a goal scoring opportunity.

If u can dribble better than Moses u will definitely have a name. Moses is up there with the best.
loll.. your post make me laugh,,,,, moses is playing for chelsea today not because he knows how to dribble.. were was his dribble when he was been sent on loan anyhow.. let me tell you something, its possible to dribble far more than moses and you still dont have a name sometimes we need a platform to showcase are talent which many dont have, go to the brazilian leauges and you will see wonderful players on the streets.. its not like moses is even the best dribbler in chelsea not to talk of in premier league. moses is a wonderful player, a game changer but dont overhype his skillset.

Please I would love to see Agbo start against Serbia. If he doesn't play, Rohr should stop inviting him...Goodmorning house and bless God for a sweet victory yesterday
Agbo is definitely not gonna make the world cup squad except he's being kept as utility in case of any injury to our defenders since he is versatile and can play as a cb and a dm. Joel obi just came out of nowhere and dropped Onazi our vice captain to the bench which means he was really impressive in training the only thing that will stop Joel from making the world cup squad now is an injury

Messi will be rubbing his hands to this your comment, Nigeria Vs Argentina 2010 was perfect until messi freekick

I am not saying for us to be silly, Shehu gave away a set piece not a direct freekick.

You can hold 2 passports but you have to apply and there is a 6 month wait period. That delayed his debut.

Echiejile can throw from the bench.
daveP:
He seems good at that and Corner kicks. I don't care what anyone else says about this freekick idea. my own is let the best person take it to give us better results. Echiejile is also good at throwings....

moses always have this awkward shooting style, he cant shoot properly from outside the box, it will always drift, and him now playing freekicks for nigeria is wrong, let him stick with throwings.

Naija my people but he has scored 4goals and is even our highest goal scorer since Rohr took over, he only played 4 games and scored 3 in qualifier, the one against Cameroon was outside the box, if you want to criticize a player do that constructively

Why are we entertaining this? A player has a Nigerian last name. identifies with Nigeria. Chooses to play for Nigeria, has Nigerian roots and a Nigerian passport and we still call them Europeans?
Later we go open our dirty mouth dey abuse Tammy say he talk red carpet.
