Totally agree.

Truly, we need to cut IDP some slack as healthy competition would really do us some good in terms of price and favourable marking scheme. "Hell will have to freeze over" before BC would restart a tape for service failure. Last, last they will tell you to fill a complaint form which I doubt ever gets attention.

It’s not over until you get your results. There is power in the spoken word. It will end in praise!

SolutionsGuy:

I don't know whether all the candidates took test in the same room. My own hall has about 40 candidates. Yes, section 4 was replayed but I didn't have issue with section 4 before. Sections 1 and 4 are my favourites in listening. The middle sections usually have more words spoken and I flopped there. I personally told them I lost points in listening because there's no headphone. They promised it will likely be available as from next test date.

In my post, I didn't attempt to rubbish MOD. Fact is there were no headphones and it pumped my 68k down the drain. You won't compare someone sitting right in front of the speaker to someone from a village seated some distance.
Your husband would recall that some people wanted the volume higher while others wanted it turned down.

The primary thing you need is the WES REFERENCE NUMBER that was generated after making payment. Take the reference to your school and ensure that they include the number in your transcript file that will be sent to WES.

You can fax your certificate yourself by using Hellofax.com (WES Fax No. 416-972-9004).

Thanks
I followed this step and fax my cert to WES. Wes acknowledged the receipt in less than 2 days.
What can I possibly be doing while I'm waiting for the school to send my transcripts to WES?
Thanks.

My husband is coming from the same test center. Lights went off during section 4 of listening but they played back the whole section 4! That means they listened to it twice! And even asked everyone if they were good. BC will never do that one. He also said the speakers were very clear, he heard everything.. and they were only 35 candidates writing. He also did his speaking test twice! Because the first time after the examiner gave him the cue card, before he started talking she started asking him the meaning of his middle name. After explaining, she said test was over. He complained after the test. Later that evening they called n rescheduled the test for the next day. Different examiner and test went as normal.
So i think we should try and cut IDP some slack.. they are really flexible, at least in Abuja. When you complain, they listen.

Well not true.. Same thing happened at the center my husband wrote his. (BC) The audio just stopped in the middle of section 2 and they played it again.

@ flaj, can u please enlighten me on the spouse work history issue.

1.) Is it a must the spouse's work history is submitted?

2.) what happens if the spouse is out of job?
Thanks

Spouse work history isn't required as it doesn't add any points to the CRS so it's better to leave it out especially if you'll have trouble finding payslips, reference letters and all. You can mention it as part of spouse's personal history.
If you'll be using spouse's account as part of POF, it is advisable to have that on standby ( i know someone got ADR for spouse work history after using spouse's salary account for POF).
However if spouse work history is in Canada it adds to the CRS and it must be submitted.
2. Spouse or PA being out a job presently doesn't affect the application as long as they have had skilled work experience within the past ten years in the appropriate NOCs. It is irrelevant that spouse or PA is out of job at the time of submitting the application

Thanks
You can mail them to find out your VO and when you do you mail your VO. You can also keep the receipt and sen it to them when they make ADR for it

Dear friends,

Amidst all the various options for GCMS notes websites, (getgcms.com, caipsgcms.com, visafile.info, myimmitracker.com, gcmsnotes.com etc) Is there any one with special advantage that outweighs others e.g. Response time? Detailed note explanation? Etc......

There's always a way to put the situation in words without putting yourself in a tight corner

Someone my friend told me about had a similar issue.

She was deported because of shoplifting in the UK

Years passed, she applied for a visa explaining that she was naive and committed the act due to peer pressure.
They gave her the visa

Wow! Deportation because of shoplifting... that's so sad.

Hello friends,

I had earlier posted about my inability to get my son's passport after capturing at Alausa pasport office ,

I once again want to ask for help as the passport is still not ready after over a month, thanks to @oyasalof who helped with a contact.

Please anyone that can help fast track the process should please reply or send a dm as I am told that only people with very senior connections are getting theirs, the time to submit my E-Apr is fast ticking.

Please!!!

Wonderful job you guys are doing here. I was in the uk between 2004 and 2006. On a six months visit visa (had a visa refusal too before i got the visa) which i over stayed. My passport was seized and subsequently lost by my uncle when i told him i wanted to go back home as i was tired of being an illegal and refused to marry for stay. I eventually got back to nigeria with an ETC , there was no biometrics in uk visa app then. I am about to start the canada pr thingy and i need advise . am thinking of not disclosing all these .
(My worries inlude old passport is missing, visa refusal, police report in uk required, illegal stay in uk). If i dont disclose all these is there anyway they cic can find out. Pls help

You don't have a problem. Just explain carefully also word it appropriately. You'll be just fine.

guys please, on which do I stand a better chance if claiming experience. Teaching (secondary school subject ), it's listed NOC , I don't have a pgde nor teachers qualification. I have an MaSc in Agriculture, got some experience in the livestock sector, it's listed on the NOC. Getting a work reference for the teaching job will be easy, but I am worried because I don't have teacher's qualification.
please I request guidance. thank you.
