Uzoho wasn't jittery as many here have opined, He's an inexperienced kid and it was visible for all to see yesterday.

He can't operate at a level his experience hasn't gotten him to yet, his positioning and decision making need serious help, it's gonna take him months to learn some of these things, do we really have that much time?

It's just so bad that we're on the verge of making him our number one at the mundial where the pressure can be overwhelming for those tender shoulders of his.

Leukemia, it shall never be well with you!
so, you know we don't have time, but you're still complaining.

We don't have any experienced keeper in the current fold. And even the so-called experienced ones have zero experience in a level as high as the world cup, so, what are we talking about?

There are 32 teams in the World Cup and bad as e be, we cannot have the worst keeper in the tournament

So, let us just suck it up and carry our baby to Russia, laslas anything wey enter, we can always say na small pikin we carry go

Ahap!

My point was that Uzoho doesn't have the time to learn all those things before the WC proper, and it's bad that we have to take whatever he's offering due to lack of other quality options.

what do you mean? the one-on-one duel between Uzoho and Lewy has the striker with three options to scoring.
He could decide to pass to his teammate right in fron of the net.
He could decide to lob the ball over Uzoho
And he could also place the ball between our goalkeeper's legs.

But Because of Uzoho's high concentration and vigilance he was able able to close his legs before the ball could penetrate his legs. And the shot was close range. Messi's own was more distant.

Robert Lewandowski had only one thing on his mind and that was to get the shot off. He had a wide open man that he could have laid the ball off to but all he was concerned about was getting the ball on his left foot but he took too long and before he could get a shot off Francis was off his line and snuffed the chance out. The boy did a great job but this is not Lionel Messi taking a shot on his right foot when the whole world thinks he is about to pass.

Only way Agbo gets to play against Serbia is if he benches either Ndidi or one of Balogun and Ekong.

I now totally believe that you have a chronic illness of the brain, a seriously serious one. Are we talking about all shots on target? He said 'better' chances, emphasis on the word 'better' and I pointed out the three 'better' chances the Poles created and what happened to all of them, that should really not be difficult for someone who is intelligent to grab
That's too harsh bro take it easy

. Lmao grin. This new SE team have and are still giving me so much joy. The last time I felt very close to this good was during the 2012 AFCON we won. So sad it ended too soon. Right now we have a lot of things in our favour: The undeniable talent, the present NFF and most importantly the unity amongst the players. Then add the new jersey to the list grin It's just incredible. What's there not to be happy about? There'll definitely be mistakes along the way but I doubt strongly that anything will make me stop supporting these boys. It's RIDE OR DIE baby. RIDE OR DIE!!! cool cool cool
You're not alone on this, bro

You want to insult someone, be a man do it like it like a man, caz, I don't really get why you'd want to apologize in advance before insulting me. 'I'm sorry sir, but you're stupid', 'no offense, but you are a slowpoke', 'no vex, you be mumu'

Pray tell, what's really your life ambition? What are you willing to achieve with your life by doing that? Is it to make me feel guilty about replying with vile words? To dampen the spot you're about to stab with your hurtful words? Or to make one appear more stupid? I just don't get it.

Victor Moses... Top super star of the team.... Dribbling king... And our biggest Gun and best impact weapon after Odogwu Mikel.

But @bolded.... He is not our highest goals scorer since Rohr took over. That title specifically belongs to none other than Kelechi Iheanacho.

Martz101:

Naija my people but he has scored 4goals and is even our highest goal scorer since Rohr took over, he only played 4 games and scored 3 in qualifier, the one against Cameroon was outside the box, if you want to criticize a player do that constructively

With Mikel Obi absent for the Serbia game, I would love to see Nacho benched and brought on maybe later (if the need arises) since Ighalo will get to strike as the no.9.

It all depends on what formation Rohr employs for Serbia on Tuesday. We could have Iwobi or Joel as the no.10... But let's see what Rohr does.

The SE midfield selection is one I am looking forward to no doubt against the likes of Adem Llajic, Milinkovic savic and Nemanja Matic.
We have Etebo available... There is Ndidi, Onazi, Joel, Ogu.. And now Agu.. Mehn... Pick your midfield cocktail... Lol

Ndidi-Ogu-Joel OR Ndidi-Joel-Iwobi OR ......... (fill in the the rest)

But my biggest desire is to see Uzoho start again against Serbia. But will it happen? sad

Truth is, we need to build on his showing against Poland. Rohr is showing his cards gradually in that goalkeeping dept and it is so obvious his trust and faith in Uzoho is bigger than most think. Rohr may have made up his mind on his no.1 but just want these friendlies to make his decision have more credibility in the eyes of the fans and so far, his faith in the young lad has been rewarded.

You are right. And I really hope Rohr follows this script and starts him against Serbia.

And what I mean by Rohr showing his cards is simple: Rohr trusts Uzoho's potentials and qualities more than he does the "experience" of Ezenwa and Akpeyi so in as much as Uzoho needs more of these Grade A Pre-WC friendlies to build confidence and his morale as Rohr prepares him for the number 1 slot, it is also clear that Uzoho's growing positive performances so far will make the decision easier for Rohr to make without much cries of fouls from majority of the fans.

Rohr is killing two birds with one stone. No.1 is Building Uzoho's confidence levels with top rated games as the talent is not in doubt. And then, no.2 is Uzoho's fine showings in these games further justifying Rohr's faith in the lad and in the eventual decision to make him no.1 in Russia.

Lol @ skunk butt
U must know how it tastes to suggest it
Hahaha
COOL10:
I finally watched the match this morning and I must say that I was impressed. I still am cheesy. It could have been worse. About Joel,it's now so obvious that he's proven he deserves a place in the WC bound team. At least if not for anything, for his determination. Despite his seemingly unending fight against injuries,he was one of the boldest if not the boldest and fearless SE player on the pitch. That deserves an applause. U needed to have felt my fast paced heartbeats everytime he fell to the ground grin. I would prefer though, for him to be played in a more attacking form. Maybe an AMF so as to see that side of him more cos we definitely lacked those cutting edge passes. Well, that's why Mikel is Mikel. No one can replace him. We can only get a good enough or even better substitute but to replace him? Impossible. The time no even dey sef.

Ebuehi needs to start abeg. Shehu messed up yesterday with the defense(most of the time but made an incredible 2nd half block in the box). Victor Moses' new role at CHE also helped us as he sometimes covered up for Shehu in the first half,so that's a good thing. Bryan was definitely better than Echiejile. No doubt. I want to see Aina come in for Ebuehi as a RB against Serbia. Let Shehu rest small and let's see what Aina can do in his natural position.

All in all,it was a good game. I'm happy. Poland weren't so friendly after all. Not even a usual 'sorry' to our players after a bad tackle. But who cares? We beat them in their backyard in front of a 42k filled stadium in which 98% were white. I could only count about 4 Nigerians excluding the NFF so yes it was a big victory cheesy. Anyone who believes otherwise can kiss a skunk's butt for all I care.

Our strength is in our midfield. Rohr should adopt 4-5-1 system against tough opposition like Argentina. He should test run against England
