First of all, everything you said is debatable but over and above that; a football team is not necessarily a collection of best individual players but a combination of the best team. Like I had said several times, if we don't do well in Russia it isn't gonna be because we missed any individual player. Fact is: I cannot think of any player who isn't invited that could offer something SIGNIFICANTLY better than the players currently in the team. The keyword being significantly.

O pari

It's individuals that make the team not the team that makes the individual.

You can not make conclusion as to SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER with regard to players because unless a player is tested, proven, assessed, how can you know.

I recognise you as one of the few informed and mostly balanced contributors on this forum.

Even in England there is favoritism and nepotism in football as well as racism. That's why players can be denied opportunity.

Your deduction on SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER is way too hasty. Can I suggest premature prejudice.

For instance Obagoal has been tried and tested at a very high level. Does the possibility exist that he is currently better than KC, I would say yes, however, it's all speculative because he has not been tested. So I simply DO NOT KNOW. But if opportunity is denied we will NEVER KNOW. What does it take to invite him to camp nothing but of course NFF politics at play. A player who had better statistics than Ighalo.

It's the Managers responsibility to create convergence and fusion of the best players available to him into a team.

From watching Sone Aluko who was denied opportunity by NFF in the most nefarious of ways. I would say outside of Mikel Obi arguably one the better options as an AM currently.

Ajayi is already in London

Ajayi is more of a support skriker not a point man.. He does not score many goals

Then what on earth is he doing there

Or is he one of the former age grade players who won accolades at youth level.

I hope he doesn't play.
He offers nothing, nothing but fowls and yellow cards!

I'm so disappointed

I don't really see aluko as assist king...
but nwakali is someone who has got the potentials...he should be invited to come train wit the team

I will tell you something if you are doing outstandingly well in any top 15 league in Europe you will be noticed. Clubs will be fighting, if not to buy to get you on loan

Seyi Ojo Newcastle offered £10million ➕ to buy him he declined.

Tega last season lit up the championship as a top striker result a plethora of teams queuing up to sign him.

What has Nwakali done that merits him a call to the SE he is playing in Aberdeen but he is not the stand out player.

On the other hand Efe Ambrose is the stand out top three central defender in the Scottish premiership league. Has anybody called him to the SE I wonder why ❓

Football has evolved and time is not something you have plenty of time. Potential must be shown and if at 21 your still talking potential then you are not progressing.

I was so angry this evening when he does not even know who is Gabriel and he will boldly start questioning his invitation sayn one of the borough player is better off...

someone he has not even watch play.

You are being presumptuous to in the negative.

I asked you a question ❓ because you presented half information. I asked if you were calling for Rueben Gabriel You didn't state club or league and I should therefore read your mind.

Which league do our best players come from ❓❓

I don't dismiss players and I'm in the UK and predominantly concerned and or interested in English football first then European.

From @NGSuperEagles

Our first training session at the Barnet FC Stadium in London went smoothly. New arrivals Junior Ajayi, Gabriel Okechukwu, Mikel Agu were actively involved but Oghenekaro Etebo was on the sidelines.

it seems you never knew the players being invited...then why start the discus for their replacement or rather call that your borough players would have done better...
it makes no sense to talk down players you've little knowledge of....I understand you live in Europe...that's not an excuse for ignorance....we have brothers who live in USA not even a football nation but they're are still better knowledgeable about all Nigeria football..reason because they're true super eagle fan... you've always talk like someone with uterior motive to promote English kids on this platform...and not necessarily a super eagle fan...

yeah...some of super eagles best players are in the UK....but that does not mean others don't live and play elsewhere....
you need do away with your parochial mindset....the super eagles have players from several leagues not just limited to England.....
I remember how you start boast of the epl having 5 teams in the UEFA round of 16...but ever since 3 of those teams were sent packing by their mates from other leagues...2 from the la liga you've learnt to keep mute....and now you've start to see it as something to boast over...that the best super eagle player is in the epl....

I would expect him to make use of Google and YouTube so as to know who the boy is....prior he starts calling and sayn that one borough player who have not even desire to play for the super eagles....is far better or should have been called instead.

from my little understanding. . It seems that rohr has drawn the curtain on players he I'll be working with for Nigeria. . Because his lists always revolves on certain players over and over again with little additions. .

IMO, it's a good thing thoor cos this time around, just like at club level, he now knows his players, starting eleven, substitutions and standbys

Akwa United striker Gabriel Okechukwu has told SCORENigeria he is the first Super Eagles player in London ahead of Tuesday’s World Cup warm-up against Serbia.

The CHAN Eagles star had missed the first friendly against Poland Friday night due to visa issues.

“I am already in London, I arrived on British Airways by 6.45 am yesterday,” he disclosed to SCORENigeria

“I have been at the hotel gym to keep fit before the arrival of the team.

“I am so excited to be among one of the best young teams preparing for the World Cup, it is a good feeling, and I am now waiting on the whole squad.”

The Eagles are due today in London from Poland.

Okechukwu said he believes the Eagles can also go past Serbia on Tuesday in London just as they beat Poland in Wroclaw.

“I am glad we won yesterday and we can still win our second friendly against Serbia,” he said

Yeap, you are very correct boss, until one of the new boys prove otherwise, but I do think Ndidi and Ekong are starting to put their imprint and show their importance on the team.

Now I understand your point about Nacho, he has to come up with a way to be indispensable in the team. (Maybe he can become our freekick specialist) or even with Leicester City. That Pass, pass, pass wey him learn for Man City no go work with Ighalo and Vic Mo, does guys are more old school ball runners.

Maybe Joel Obi can be the next x factor behind Mikel Obi and Moses. Although, Ndidi can be one of the most important players for us. Well, let us keep watching.

After watching the match again, I think Balogun was the boss in the back. He performed better than Ekong.

Since, the time I dey follow SE, I have never seen an indispensable player in the National team. Once, you don't messure up, you will be kicked out but let us see what Iheanacho brings to the table during the world cup.

I just feel he is not being used properly.
