elyte89: In all honesty I should be. But because I have a little bit of let's say insider knowledge and know the reasons he is not invited has nothing to do with football. But more to do with NFF politics. Don't believe all you read Rohr is a an excellent coach that understands how to navigate our politics. He is still able to be influenced it's not a one man band where selection is concerned. 1 Like |

Humility017: The possibility still exists of an all England final in Champions League albeit highly unlikely so don't count your eggs before they hatch. I said the core top quality players in the SE have come from the EPL. Those players are the backbone of the SE. It's not a boast it's just a simple fact. Unless you wish to blinded by prejudice when did I say all players must come from England that's just cheap misdirection and misrepresentation. Well educate me tell me stats underpin that with a good quality league and stand out player in that league. Eventually good players will elevate themselves to top leagues and quality teams, all things being equal. I Haven't asked for any player to be replaced, just a level playing field for all players to be tested. The players I think should be considered are mostly already capped for Nigeria but for reasons unknown have been excluded. Aluko, Ambrose and Obagoal are these the borough players you are talking about ![]() ![]() ![]() I usually do not respond to your comments when they lack substance but I'll make an exception today 1 Like |

komekn: Do you know how many players Nigeria have in the world, so we should keep testing everybody to know who is better, some well known players never made it to there country national team, France cantona never made it to the France 98 team, you can't build a team by always changing and fixing. right now we can name 90% of our worldcup sqaud barring no injury, this is a mistake we made in the past, it wont be nice repeating it again |

safarigirl: The only two Nwakali's I know are one after leaving the Norwegian league in January transfer window is now at Aberdeen and the other one in MVV Maastrichct the Eredivisie both of them have been far from outstanding. Although they are contracted to big clubs in the name of Arsenal and Man city. They are very very far away from first team football at those clubs. I am not too familiar with Norwegian league I only know two Managers and a few coaches and quite a few players who gone there to seek opportunities. The football is far from great. 1 Like |

Martz101: The basis for any call up should be outstanding performance in your club and league particularly if it's a backwater league. Or in the alternative good quality in a more competitive quality league. From that base line you invite players you play friendlies and then you select. How many players of Nigerian origin are playing regularly for top teams in a top league ![]() If that does not suffice you look at league that are good quality or second tier to the very best leagues. When KC was scoring regularly at Man city, there was nothing to test, his performances selected him. However, football is not static you must keep being competitive if not you can be dropped for the in form players. You create competition to select the best. You do not rely on past glories, biased recommendations based on gain by agents, |

Komekn cam NEVER diss the Nwakali in Aberdeen in his BELOVED QUEENS KINGDOM. A land where they prepare and dish out glamorous football. Just wait and watch him start praising Chidebere Nwakali just cos of his club affiliation. I know he'd soon do it. safarigirl: 1 Like |

Dedebanky85: That was my first reaction to Efe Ambrose he is finished. But as it stands right now he is the stand out defender in the Scottish premiership league. It's a lowly league but he is standing out and that means he has improved. Furthermore, you may disbelieve me but I know at least one EPL club that wanted him and quite a few Championship clubs too. However, work permit issues have restricted him. Can you say conclusivey that Balogun and Omeruo are better if you wish to be honest. Unless you want to rely on old performances. |

Dedebanky85: Actually Scottish league is a backwater league with one club Celtic winning everything. Rated even lower than the Eredivisie. It's rated 26 in Europe that's not great. The only one thing it does give you is proximity to the EPL and therefore if you stand out its a few miles to the EPL. Do not Forget that the most expensive center back in the world came from Celtic before going to Southampton and finally Liverpool. Currently the Bundesliga is rated 4th in Europe with La Liga on top and the EPL second. All according to UEFA https://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/country/ |
