I saw this few minutes ago, E be like say many super Eagles fans no Like Mikel Agu. personally, I no like the guy style of play, he doesn't add anything worth admiring for the team. Here are some of the best tweets from Super Eagles fans :

@megakul : ''If Mikel can make it for the second game the mid-field will be more solid. Mikel Agu I don't know what is doing in that team''.

@diweuche : ''Abeg make rohr leave this mikel agu guy jare.he seem to like the guy too much or probably the guy has the backing of one top official.we already have a loaded midfield jare. I don't see what he brings to the team abeg.junior ajayi will give some competition to kelechi.''

@Wisdomyanmife : ''We don't need Mikel Agu''.

@riicojay13 : ''I think we can only get better from here on, Joel has been out for long, still better than Mikel Agu in my opinion..''.

@iamlanrooney : ''Wetin b mikel agu? don't kno wat rohr sees in that guy,, our own bakayoko''.

@Joseosas : ''I am beginning to suspect an ulterior motive in this Agu guy..... This guy played all games in the qualifiers and still played nothing. Rohr continues to invite him. Competency is supposed to be the watch word but it seems favoritism has the better edge''.

@genero_johnnel : ''Mikel agu doing what in camp. Nawao for coach Rohr''.

@SoonQie : ''We don't need a Mikel Agu in that team anymore''.

@Thatrigga_ : ''I think akpeyi is injured now sef, mikel agu dare not even try it..''.

@ndibe_emmanuel : ''No b so Mikel Agu been dey play ahead of john ogu cos the latter plays in Israel....... Na joke o''.

@megakul : ''@Jamz1001FM my question is for you if you the eagles coach will Mikel agu make your list. For me no no what's yours?''.
Mikel Agu so far in eagles not convincing,so guys are right with their tweets but what would they say about Agbo making the team and yet to feature even in friendlies.

Mikel Agu was called up because of the absence of 2 midfielders.. Mikel Obi and Etebo..

He is a good player that has not shown his best in an Eagles shirt.

I know, but we have seen enough of him. Uche Agbo have not gotten his chance. We need to see him play even though he might not make it to Russia. The Midfield is still loaded even without Etebo and Mikel. His invitation is not neccessiary.

Tosin was born in Nigeria and his family moved to England just a few years ago. I am not sure, he even has his English citizenship yet.
Ok but what of Adarabioyo of Man City?

I would agree with that unreservedly.

Even if some may think thats conceited on my part.
Yes it's conceit on your part. You are number one in the list of people who think they know better than the coach what with your unending call for players the coach obviously has no plans for as it stands now.

Well said. Some of the people calling him a "hypocrite" are the ones that will criticize you simply because you're not being "positive" enough.
Patriotism doesn't equate lack of objectivity.

Well said.

the difference between me...and you and also your British mate...is that even when the player I craved for is never invited I don't blame anyone for that...not even the coach, I don't go blame the nff politics or call the super eagles a cult group...
i support the team regardless of who gets invited....I get to know about players...prior i start call for reason for their invitation...and lots more...

so I am not an hypocrite...
if you must define who an hypocrite is...you will know better from the bolded.
That's the kernel of the matter. We call for players but whether they are invited or not our allegiance remains with the SE not to any particular player. We don't make baseless and outlandish accusations on the integrity of the coach just because our select player are not invited.

Manchester United, Tosin Kehinde meets Gernot Rohr in London.. Great prospect.

you see the wise ones..are making moves..tomorrow he gets invited and some here will cry of double standard...
what is forbiding aluko and onyedinma from visiting rohr and letting him of their availability and willingness to play...for the super eagles if called upon.

common sense is truly not common this days...

I don't like to get into long arguments but I just want to point out something I keep noticing. I've been following this thread for a long time now, and I see the patterns that play out in discussions here. Double standards!

You keep telling people not to believe everything they read, yet you quote articles and comments that support your argument and present them as fact that should be accepted. Apparently, whatever you say is true, is true and people are supposed to just take it?

People here defended Kelechi when he was having difficulty and suggested the coach was not fair to him and the system did not favour him. Whether that was true or not is another matter. However, according to you, he was not good enough and thus his predicament. Those making 'excuses' for him were just sentimental and it was all 'emotive bias', etc. Now you are making excuses for Iorfa, his coach had an agenda and some conspiracy theory brouhaha. Even if he was that good, why did he leave for the lowly 'kick and follow' (i believe in your words) Ipswich? Why didn't another premier league team or at least a better championship side snap him up?

I'm not trying to downplay Iorfa's quality. Just trying to point the flaw in your stance. Like I said earlier, I'm not one to get into any back and forth so quotes may not necessarily be replied. I'll just leave it at that
.

Fellow eagulians, I hail. Over and out!

That's the shocking thing. His determination in calling for the invitation of players whose allegiance has not been settled. Iorfa wey dem give opportunity to stake a claim for himself and his Dad was stalling is the same player komekn will not let us rest about.
and now he is trying to save face..claiming he was only calling for efe, obagoal and aluko inclusion...everyone knows that he only resorted to the trio reason because the time.frame is too short for the inclusion of the English kids...he has been clamouring for....expect him to resume his call after the world cup.....
ilorfa gonna wait for a long time...him and His dad...got stewed in their own stew pot.

I really think the nff is trying seriously to avoid another Tammy treatment...
anyone who wanna play for us..should meet gernot rohr...now that he is in London.

I don't see any reason for Agu invitation when Agbo has not been find worthy of a minute playing.

I remember when Rohr dropped Agbo prior to may be Cameroon match he still get a recall for the same match now Agu who was not on the list getting a call with availability of Ndidi,Onazi,Joel,Ogu and Agbo then am confused.

Well Rohr is in charge.

I now totally believe that you have a chronic illness of the brain, a seriously serious one. Are we talking about all shots on target? He said 'better' chances, emphasis on the word 'better' and I pointed out the three 'better' chances the Poles created and what happened to all of them, that should really not be difficult for someone who is intelligent to grab

Mr Mickeal, I want to believe that you know that those words I bolded are direct insults at my person.? I also believe that there is no where in my post where I insulted you.

We have had clashes in the past but it never led to unwarranted insults, please don't tow that line now.
