When I initially updated to the current update I am on now, the battery wasn't behaving well until after I rebooted the phone.

Just hold down power button for like 15 secs to turn the phone off, leave it off for like 30mins to an hour, turn it on again and try.

If the problem persists, another option is to do some engineering if you can, or take it to Ikeja first thing tomorrow morning. Apparently that part of the touch screen has developed some issues.
