We should evolve beyond using The Hive for our matches. With the vast support base of the Eagles in London, a capacity of 5,176 is grossly inadequate.

Even in terms of revenue, the NFF is losing so much. The Super Eagles is now an exciting brand and the NFF should be creative in milking it.

It's the same lapses we see with the Jersey. People want to buy now, and you say you will only make it available when you want to. Doesn't work that way.

If you can go back pages i was one of the few monikers that went against Iorfa senior statement.

But my question is,why are we always showing double standard in dealing with the same issue.

Torunarigha Ojokojo said my son will not play for Nigeria but here some said that's his father statement not the boy.

Dominic Iorfa said my son will decide his future at 23 but we are using the statement to knock the boy off.

If i may ask,whom will you pick between Iorfa and Torunarigha based on their Father's statements.

Good Torunarigha Jordon came out recently to reject Nigeria.

Onyekuru issue was work permit, I think his only undoing is his low transfer fee. I'm sure he would be in Everton next season if the club pushes for his stay under the "special talent" category.
Ndidi was already qualified to play in England because of his high transfer fee, he didnt have to have played for the national team, the transfer fee was enough evidence for the FA to know he was quality another way young players can gain work permit.
So it's not as simple as you make it sound.

I know is a German but is a Nigeria coach so equal treatment for all FBs.

I know an ex youth international Darlington Omodiagbe who scouts for him in Germany and was the one recommending these guys for Rohr.

Darlington recommended Okoye Maduka,held talks with Akpoguma,Uduokhai,Torunarigha and always pushing for Osimhen

The guy is doing well in this regards cos he was instrumental to Leon first invitation by giving Keshi Leon phone number.

I don't know may be Rohr has somebody on the ground in UK doing this,just hearing of one Doherty,likely he is working with NFF directly not Rohr.

LEON BALOGUN
Hailed for his formidable partnership with William Troost-Ekong during the qualifiers, the Mainz of Germany centre-back has struggled to impress in the Super Eagles’ last two games.
No wonder he was hauled off in the 4-2 friendly win against Argentina last November and the situation repeated itself on Friday with Kenneth Omeruo replacing him after another below-par outing.
With the likes of Chidozie Awaziem, Stephen Eze and Omeruo knocking on the door and hoping to secure starting berths ahead of the World Cup, Tuesday’s game against Serbia offers the towering defender a big chance to redeem himself and secure his place in the team.

BRYAN IDOWU
The Amkar Perm of Russia left-back had a memorable debut, scoring Nigeria’s third goal in the 4-2 win against Argentina last November. He was praised for his all-round display in the game and touted as possible replacement for regular left-back Elderson Echiejile.
Idowu however failed to live up to the high ratings against Poland and was way off the high standards he set in his previous outing and also at club level.
It is difficult to see him start against Serbia with Ola Aina and Echiejile also fighting for the same position.
Should he get the nod ahead of the duo again, Idowu will need to better his performance against Poland to prove he is the right man for the position.

JOEL OBI
Plagued by injuries in recent years, the Torino of Italy midfielder was handed the chance to stake a claim for a place in the team ahead of the mundial against the Poles.
Though he didn’t do his chances any harm following a battling display in the middle of the park, with the likes of Mikel Obi, Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo and Mikel Agu ahead of him in the pecking order, Joel could make do with another chance and a top-notch display to prove he is worthy of a place in the World Cup squad.

TYRONNE EBUEHI
Still considered as second choice to Shehu Abdullahi, the ADO Den Haag right-back showed his class when he was introduced after break in the friendly win against Argentina in what was his debut game for the Super Eagles.
He was decent too after replacing the same player against Poland, but he will need to offer more to displace Shehu from the spot.
He might get the chance to finally prove his worth against Serbia on Tuesday with Shehu Abdullahi looking doubtful for the game after picking up an injury against Poland.

KELECHI IHEANACHO
An inconsistent performer on the international scene, Kelechi Iheanacho despite his quality and versatility has not consistently proved he is worthy of a regular berth in the team.
He was poor against Poland on Friday and might need to take his chance against Serbia if at all he gets to feature in the game to show he is still a force to reckon with in the team.

Did we nail Ebuehi cos of that after he said yes to us,No but Iorfa saying yes if he get invitation is an issue now.

I know Iorfa is not on Rohr radar for now,if Rohr need him no issue he get him ASAP regardless of his father statement cos he didn't use Ebuehi earlier stance to deal with the young boy.

Actually the statement is not nonsensical in the slightest. But substantive in understanding the dynamics of national team allegiance and the impact on football club career progression.

National team allegiance impacts very heavily particularly at the early stages of your career on your market value and your contract opportunities.

For example Ryan Ssegnon is a LB for Fulham fc he started playing for the first team at age 16 in 2016. I spoke to the HOD recruitment at the time, this was October 2016 and Fulham were playing Blackburn. They had placed a value of £25 million in Ryan , I thought he was crazy at the time.

That value was impacted very positively because he was an England youth international. Furthermore all the top clubs in the EPL are looking for top English talent. Primarily because the top tramse in the EPL struggle to have 3/4 Engliish players as regulars in thier teams.

This further increases value. As a future England international the potential for marketing is simply massive. But one that's earmarked already for greatness. Immediately Nike and Adidas want to give you tens of millions to market thier boots. Ryan Ssegnon will DEFINITELY play for England soon and very soon.

Last summer Liverpool put in a bid for Ryan Ssegnon of £30 million. Fulham refused they want more and they will get more. It seems ludicrous but the most expensive left back in England plays for Fulham in the Championship and he is a teenager.

Now considering all these stupendously huge sums of money being banded about. Then change the dimensions let him say he pledges allegiance to Jamaica. Would you call that wisdom


All those £££millions well the larger part of them will turn to smoke and dissappear into thin air.



So when Dominic Iorfa says wait till I'm 23 he is trying to use his England youth international value to leverage his career before he pledges allegiance to Nigeria. He did that with a loan move to Ipswich in the summer and then made his commitment.

There is a difference. When a person takes a clear cut position it helps you know where you stand and what needs be done. Ebuehi was straight and ultimately he was persuaded.
Iorfa was doing two timing. It's easier to toast a lady who spurns your first advance than the one who dances one step towards you and another step away from you.
