Already did. Aigbogun invites Bournemouth teenage midfielder. First foreign based player to be invited to the U20s

TheSuperNerd:

I've been dropping posts on the thread. But ofcos the latest is their 2-game friendly in Egypt against the their host's U-20 side and ofcos the age cheat brouhaha. Please go ahead and post in the U-20s... It is natural that the main focus seem to be on the Nation's biggest football team, The Super Eagles. wink

Serbia is a formidable team. Iron sharpens iron, playing them upgrades our concentration level..renforces our ball holding tenacity....tasks our creativity....engenders team play...Win,draw or lose, our team grows in maturity after this match...They are very skilful, fast and a little older than us. Toe to toe, pound for pound...what a match up...Bring them on

One thing I have discovered in all my keen follwership of the beautiful game is that players like Nacho got haters. Mikel in his younger days also had haters... But he has grown and gone on to be such a super force and the leader of our team down the lines. It's like a trend. Our top players who came thru from the U-17s had their haters. Even KANU was not left out.

But on this thread... We are all here to support the team because this is what the thread is also about right? Well yeah... But then amongst us are the few who just cannot stand the name Nacho on our lineup. In fact, they would rather he picked an injury and miss the WC party. They will support the team so long as Nacho is not in the team... Tell me, is that the kind of support the Super Eagles need right now?

Nacho is a key part of this team either from the start or from the bench whether any of us likes it or not so it is for the greater good to give our support to the team and that means supporting each and every one of the players. Ofcos, you can dislike this style or that style... Every one has preferences but this is not what it is even about.

This is about why a news on Nacho having a fractured hand wilp draw that much likes from among us... It is really disturbing. You may take it as nothing but as one who have followed the trends on this thread and from previous national team threads... Mehn... This is most likely a first for a key player on GWG duty. The young lad fractured a hand and the likes drop like rain... Mehn... We should check ourselves.

you are over flogging this, what is there to hate about nacho, people complain about his play sometimes dont mean they hate him.

I also complain. And that is not even close to the angle I am coming from. My point is simple... Liking the fact that Nacho fractured his hand to the tune of five solid likes is really not one to call healthy. Finito.

This is the likely lineup for Tuesday. This is the line-up for their final training...Uzoho is likely to start again..

Uzoho -

Ebuehi, Balogun, Troost-Ekong, Idowu -

Onazi, Ndidi, Joel Obi -

Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi,

Ahmed Musa

cc: Gbosaa

Another false 9 formation would like to see how effective it'd be
Good to see Ebuehi start today, very underrated lad, Ogu to replace Onazi at any point in the game, Ahmed Musa as a SS/CAM well only time will tell though he played such similar role against Argentina after Iheanacho had been subbed off.
All in all I just wish the team best of performance

Diplomatic boycott they called it. I hope Nigeria follows suit. Imagine Nigerian politicians, ministers, senators etc boycotting the tournament. The likes of Dalung won’t go, Dino I’m sure will be planning on how to take photos with clowns and circus girls.

It’d surely save Nigeria some revenue.

Funny enough, I liked the post just to appreciate tbaba's great updates. The same way I 'like' his other posts. I've never hated on the said lad.

Folks here shouldn't be quick to judge what they have less idea about. A question would have been better than a declarative sentence.

Anyway, we have a common interest - to cheer the Super Eagles to GREATNESS! I wish our team the best of luck today in London.

Depending on how the #NGASRB game goes, I strongly believe that John will be the first off the bench in the midfield dept. And I also believe that barring injuries, he will make the Russia party. John Ogu is already Russia-bound.

Yes, yes... I didnt want to say this but I know there will be just one or maybe two who liked for "appreciation sakes" but truthfully speaking, that is not the case for all remaining likes. smiley

I repeat... No player in the GWG has gotten that much likes for an injury news on GWG duty. All five likes most certainly cannot be just in appreciation of Tbaba's good works on the news now is it? cheesy

Lol.... I've been so long on this thread to read between the lines. Had Chief Icon4s not mentioned it, believe me, we would not even be talking about it right now... But when two eyes like Him and me notice this.... And he is the one to point it out and not me... Then this is not air talk. But I will let it lie... My message is already gotten across.

There is nothing to like on "five counts" or more on a player's injury while on GWG duty. And all five certainly cannot be "in appreciation" coz I know all will wanna hide under that umbrella whereas it is only one or two that belong there.

Wow. You actually monitor the number of likes each player injury news gets. shocked

Bro. Chill mehn. I'm sure they were harmless likes. See, even if uzoho or ekong gets injured in the near future (I'm not praying this happens) you may see 10 likes.

Don't worry, smiley. I'm sure we are passionate SE fans here. And every criticism (or likes) stem from hearts that are passionate about the GWG

Today is another big day in our world Cup story, as for me, our world cup has started and I will bask in the Euphoria of our victories. I will savour every minute of our winnings as tomorrow is not guaranteed!!!

I refused to accept that we lose now and win tomorrow. I refuse to accept that we have lose today so that we can win tomorrow, when in actual sense no one amongst us here have the power to control tomorrow.

Winning instead we must because we stand awhole lot to gain if we win than when we lose.

Winning today will boost our insulting current FIFA rankings from 52 to 41

Winning today will boost the confidence our boys further and sell their image faster in the international market and their market ratings will keep soaring high, and we need that because we need them to play at the biggest clubs.

So to me,.......

WINNING IS EVERYTHING!!!!!!

Go boys and do us Proud!!
