I am greatly mystified that a team with, Mascherano, Otamendi, Fazio, Banega, Le Ceslso, DiMaria, Aguero, Dyabala, Higuan have to look up to Messi. It's just ridiculous! Argentina need to get their acts right. This is last chance for that whole team to win the WC as they are all in their relevant thirties. Icon79: |

TheSuperNerd: The last time I saw that kind of like or even more was when Ikechukwu Ezenwa was ruled out for 3weeks following the injury sustained in that CHAN semi-final. The other day komekn attacked someone here for allegedly rejoicing over the injury of Okazaki of Leicester, but I defended the fellow as I saw it as being born out of patriotism for a Nigerian player - Iheanacho. How some people would rejoice over a Nigerian player's injury is worrisome to me. For those that have cleared the air on why they clicked like on that comment, no wahala but just be sincere about it. I am not being a judge or a Police here. I mean... people have the right to like whatever they chose to or not. But let us remember that our overall target and expected is for us to contribute to the development of Nigerian football. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Yeah... I do some pretty odd stuffs don't I? @bolded... That will and should never happen.... Abi just to prove a point abi. 10 likes would just surface? Look... This thing is unhealthy because such no. Of likes on an injured player of ours never reach that level biko. I know what I'm saying but hey, just let it go aiit. I didn't even want Kelechi starting this game against Serbia as the AM. He messed up in the last one even tho he tried what he could. He was just a low okay against Poland. He missed Mikel. I will say it again, it is a player like Mikel that can make a decent attack of Iwobi and Nacho look like magic. Nacho is still growing his game and strives best as an SS... Can also play CF and RWF in a fluid 4-3-3. But to expect him to dictate play like Mikel? Mehn... We are way in over our heads here... Lol.. I did warn the house not to expect Nacho to do a Mikel... darkelf: |

lol U always have to consider context. If Echiejile is injured, is it good for his career? No. Is it good for SE? Maybe yes lol. Icon4s: |

You are talking Echiejile... I thought some will even bring up Akpeyi here... Lol... I recall when this became a matter, I was very careful about it... I cannot wish Akpeyi injury. But at the same time I want the best for us in goal. It is truly a matter of how we value these players as humans too. Joebie: |

I don't see Akpeyi as one who will get the #1 slot. But if handlers are too stubborn sometimes life corrects the situation. And this is true in other spheres of life. In reality I don't wish any player bad. If I do I will say it straight up. TheSuperNerd: |

tbaba1234:Uzoho........Good to see him in action again and better for his confidence Ebuehi...........He is starting for the first time and let's see may be he would be a better option than Shehu Balogun.........Good to see him again with Troost-Ekong. Ekong........Another solid performance expected with Balogun Idowu............Seems Echijele is losing out though Idowu had average game against Poland,Elderson couldn't have done better. Onazi...........Good to be back in the starting line up and let's see what he has to offer. Ndidi........Another solid performance is loading. Joel Obi.......Gradually integrating himself into the team, hope to see him doing Mikel for us today Victor Moses.......had a good match against Poland but need to play more with the team Alex Iwobi.......not convincing performance against Poland but hope to see improve Alex today, need to be consistent. Ahmed Musa......He must have showed class in training for him to start ahead of Ighalo.Truly Ighalo and Nacho were below par against Poland. Remarks......The team is evolving with starting team emerging, just few changes from Poland match with Onazi,Ebuehi and Musa coming in for injured Nacho,Shehu and Ighalo respectively. It seems Ezenwa has lost out in competing for number one shirt cos Rohr has more trust in young Uzoho. Also am seeing Echijele not making it cos having him on the bench doesn't add any value to the team.Let's see how Elderson react in subsequent friendlies. With Musa coming in as a leading attacker meaning Rohr wasn't satisfied with Ighalo and Nacho though injury ruled him out, meaning hope for the likes of Oyekwuru,Ideye,Kayode,Samuel Kalu,Olayinka etc. The team is getting clearer and any player dropped from this 28 man list should forget WC. 8 Likes |

This goes to show that Rohr is a very conservative coach. He doesn't just change his teams for the mere fact of changing it. That's why i fear for Aina breaking in. Now he's trusting Idowu, it's gonna be tough for Aina. I even thought an Awaziem or Omeruo would have started in place of Balogun. Well things could still change in 7hrs before the official starting list is out but I doubt it as he tends to start with his last training team. I just feel for Aina and the other CBs. Aina would come in for either Ebuehi or Idowu. What's conservative about that. Don't forget Aina debuted before Idowu. What do you have to say about Joel Obi? Dedebanky85: |

And I can honestly tell you that Echiejile tops that list... It used to be Akpeyi but Ezenwa and Uzoho have since displaced him. I understand why it seems that way but I really don't find it healthy in the long run shaa... I may laugh about it when I see how a few go about it. I remember even Safari was like, "Mehn, it berra be Echiejile who picks a knock biko to save us some embarrassment"... It all looked funny yeah... And I laughed too but honestly ehn... I believe Rohr will take the best regardless of everyone being fit. We should just wish the players the best and hope most especially that our key players stay fit. Nacho is among our key players which is why Chief Icon4s obviously pointed out what he observed (I observed it too but kept quiet). Joebie: |

Post Russia, during the ANC qualifiers Rohr should start blooding in some youngsters to take over the mantle from Mikel Obi. It's very annoying that whenever he ain't there, the creative part of our game becomes almost non-existent. I will love to see us giving the likes of KC Nwakali, Ejaria, Azubuike, Sokari, Kehinde, Onomah et al opportunities 4 Likes |

Good u get the point. Honestly I wish these players in question make the train and play at a high level that they never have before. It's all for the good of the team. But as it stands some players clearly don't deserve a place. TheSuperNerd: |
