I agree. but it was important we tried all these formations.. I hope to see the real SE in June.

Yeah..... I think we are good with 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 as our main Formation, 3 - 5 - 2 as tactical Formation, and 4 - 3 - 3 as the last Option.

This is a good result despite the loss, now I know a few things..
Ebuehi is not better than Shehu at RB, Shehu remains our first choice.
We desperately need an attacking midfielder, what happens if Mikel gets injured and doesn't get to play the World Cup like in 2010 (God forbid)
I'll personally prefer uncle Echiejile at left back (the devil we know) all these our new angels viz Idowu, Aina(at left back are not spectacular)

All in all oga Rohr should fix our attacking midfield problem and we'll be good to go.
Too many Dm's in one team leads to disjointed play.

CHEI AGAIN ANOTHER GOAL

Truth must be said we have been very poor.

A championship striker is bullying and terrorising our defence
who asked if the Serbian striker is a championship player?

dude is benefiting from a well coordinated play...you are trying to chip in something else.

post - mortem

Even with Mikel in the team we would struggle, just not as badly.

We have an average bunch of players barring a few individual top talents who do not play as a team.

Team cohesion zero, Uzoho lacks confidence in his defence , never plays out from the back. We have discovered that our so called super wing backs are not as good as we once thought. Ebuehi was found out BADLY. Ndidi has diesel in his engine non stop working, tenacious but his passing suspect, tackles 1st class. Iwobi flatters skill upon skill but no end product. We really lack strength in depth.

We need to go back to the drawing board, we need a TIGHT COMPACT DISCIPLINED TEAM WITH COHESION even with average players we can become dangerous.

I am grateful i didn't drive the 200 miles to watch this police game.

If you call our game a police game, what will you call the spain vs Argentina game, civil defence or vio game abi, guy you funny. Learn to control your emotions, life is not that hard. We are just too hard on ourselves as Nigerians

I find observations and give recommendations cause I find mammoth flaws in the squad. If you give no recommendations, my lady, then you see it a finished team already.

you better keep sleeping and don't dream
...Here we have Spain mauling Argentina carelessly

TheSuperNerd:
In Mikel, we have the heart of this team, In Balogun we have the leader of our defence... He always seem to know how to rally his defensive lieutenants.

And in Iheanacho, we have the best goal threat in the team...

We missed these three today. This is the truth.

We also missed the ever lively Victor Moses.... He jjst didn't come to the party and was subbed off early....

And this is the second time a Ekong-Awaziem CB pairing is conceeeding two goals in a game.

Ebuehi did struggle (I believe he still isnt at 100% fitness even) and well, His battle with Shehu for the RB role continues

I don't trust Ighalo to lead our attack in Russia at all.. minus his work rate, he is very wasteful.. he may end up costing us a lot at the WC...

That being said,I feel Rohr should try using Nacho as a false9 more either in a 4-3-3 or 3-5-2 formation.. Two things make me think it will work out well..

1) Nacho doesn't function well as a lone striker unless he gets a lot of supply from the midfield. something that he lacks when Mikel is absent..and he obviously more of a goal threat than Ighalo.. Playing in a false9 role will enable him link up more with the midfield and create more goal scoring chance for the team... plus his pressing will b useful in causing problems for our opponents

2) Mosses and Iwobi (I want them to start alongside Nacho in the 4-3-3) are very good at cutting into the middle from the flanks and they also have good eyes for goals...

what do u think??

They'll just show up after few days with other names.
They don't give up.
If we know what's good for us, we should stick to the the team that qualified us for the world cup. All these joel obi, aluko, martins calls won't do any magic now.

Rohr has his team already. Let's allow him be.

Seen in 3 minutes? Make them no call anybody again oooo, I'm tired of the coach calling people and not giving them enough time. BTW, we should be playing the main team more often

My reference to police game was the constant ballooning of the ball forward with no sens of direction.

We are not English league 2 side, can we not play from the back , haba

Lol...something tells me he only watched the match to see how good his English based players play......
his loyalty I think is more attached to anything England first....before Nigeria.

I don't blame him though....
I think rohr would have just field ajayi,Agbo,Gabriel and co...better we loose wit those guys...at least one can say...the Serbians played out weakest team...but with this loss....it gonna reduce so much confidence the fans have on these lads...
