post - mortem

Even with Mikel in the team we would struggle, just not as badly.

We have an average bunch of players barring a few individual top talents who do not play as a team.

Team cohesion zero, Uzoho lacks confidence in his defence , never plays out from the back. We have discovered that our so called super wing backs are not as good as we once thought. Ebuehi was found out BADLY. Ndidi has diesel in his engine non stop working, tenacious but his passing suspect, tackles 1st class. Iwobi flatters skill upon skill but no end product. We really lack strength in depth.

We need to go back to the drawing board, we need a TIGHT COMPACT DISCIPLINED TEAM WITH COHESION even with average players we can become dangerous.

I am grateful i didn't drive the 200 miles to watch this police game.

If only we had Aluko and Ambrose

My reference to police game was the constant ballooning of the ball forward with no sens of direction.

We are not English league 2 side, can we not play from the back , haba

If we dey balloon the ball, na wetin Argentina dey do? Just wann calm you down. That's all.

Lol...something tells me he only watched the match to see how good his English based players play......
his loyalty I think is more attached to anything England first....before Nigeria.

I don't blame him though....
I think rohr would have just field ajayi,Agbo,Gabriel and co...better we loose wit those guys...at least one can say...the Serbians played out weakest team...but with this loss....it gonna reduce so much confidence the fans have on these lads...
even me...my mind don dey shake
bro, this is hardly our strongest team. It would be foolhardy to judge the tram based on this game, because this isn't the actual team

Iwobi was anonymous in the first half simply because he was drafted out wide in a 3 front men formation. This I have always said.

He came into the game and contributed more when he drifted into the midfield. I hope Rohr saw the same.

Yeah..... I think we are good with 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 as our main Formation, 3 - 5 - 2 as tactical Formation, and 4 - 3 - 3 as the last Option.

433 didn't work today... Why can't will just settle for the last formation 4-4-1-1 instead of 433

you don't know that angle is necessary for Komekn's narrative?

I did not know our defense is filled with players from La Liga and EPL......BTW, of what use were the Premier League forwards in our team or even that Premier League midfielder from Serbia? grin

The Championship must be better than EPL

You are bad men...championship is great from serbia but EPL from naija is bad.

at least nothing leaked from their end, if daddy Echiejile had played, we for dey yarn 5-0 sef

Tah! I don't believe that, the problem we had with Elder Echejile is that he contributes next to nothing to the attack, I can't remember a match where his wing leaked goals, the way we saw Ebuehi's leak goals at RB today (it was glaring)
If Idowu will not contribute anything to the attack.. How him take better pass Elder?

Make we no forget say na this baba play all our qualifiers o.

If we know what's good for us, we should stick to the the team that qualified us for the world cup. All these joel obi, aluko, martins calls won't do any magic now.

Rohr has his team already. Let's allow him be.

Be truthful to yourself and remember that Danny Alves, Robben , Ronaldo C, Klos , Defoe, are all in the same age range or older than Obagoal. Then ask yourself is Ighalo, Kelechi better than Obagoal because the statistics say they are not.

For one, even as old as you think he is , he is faster than the both of them, more skilful and experienced with an edge on how to score.

But then if you are emotively prejudiced ,i cant say nuttin more.

Currently listening to Brilla FM. Apparently,a reporter tried talking to the SE players but most ran away. Lol. But he finally got Ighalo but Ighalo said :I can't talk anything pls,I can't talk anything. Chai,I pity the guy ooo. Come on boy,it's just a friendly. Don't beat yourself up too much. We the REAL SE FANS stand with you till the end. It's RIDE OR DIE!!!.

Come to think of it people, let's pick up something positive from this. Now we know who and who are irreplaceable in this team. Now we are 95% sure on who we and Rohr can trust to do the job at the WC. Now we can finally say bye to those not relevant to our cause. Now we'll be more focused.

I think we still need to find the third point man. Ighalo is a great guy but he isn't CLINICAL enough. How many chance must he have before he gets a goal?

Germany lost (at home) too but to Brazil. This will lower our expectation from the boys and also give a (false) sense of relief to out opponents . Good result. Let's now continue with our preparation.

Now let me come in here, I said against poland that we were lucky infact we played better today than last match.

Its obvious now that joel obi is overated.
without mikel we are shit.
ndidi cannot cover the whole midfield after he is just a man.
even if moses finish the match there will still be no difference.
Uzoho needs more gain, he is getting better.
Awaziem did his best but still needs to improve same with ebuehi they are still young.
iwobi is not serious at all not convincing enough.
and mister lean back Ighalo... that one no be striker oo.
musa na kukuma dey match.
you cant learn new skill at old age onazi n joel time to go.

it wasnt as bad as the polish game, just the score line.
