Yes he did. Ebuehi was poor.

The two games we have lost under Rohr had Ekong- Awaziem partnership... I'm not blaming them oo.. but Omeruo should b the one to deputize for Balogun.. Save for the costly blunders he make at times, I think Omeruo is still a decent player in the GWG

I might have been judging you wrongly. Was expecting new names but here you are - seeing positives from the team. You're a true fan.

I agree with you on all front except for Joel Obi. We are better off without him. He's not offering anything different. Etebo and co blend better having been with the team for long.

forgiveness:

In a team you need good experienced players mixed with youngsters.

We are going to the world Cup with the youngest team is not enough.

However, I really enjoyed the game because there are both positives and negatives but I hope Rohr corrects the negatives.

we don't have a goalkeeper yet.

Ebuehi doesn't see to be good defensively and he found it difficult to deal with up balls and tricky players.

The defence is not solid without Balogun and Ekong.

Idowu is not as good as Aina. Aina is better..

We don't have strikers. Ighalo is not enough.

No creative or attacking midfielder.

Ahmed Musa is suspect.

No pattern of play.

No Mikel Obi, Victor Moses and Balogun, no Nigeria National team.

We don't have good replacement for Simon Moses and Victor Moses on the wings.

Rohr only selected players for training materials. He's not ready to bring competition for shirt into the team else he should explain why he brought in new players to the team without given them chance to prove themselves. Abi, wetin person wan play within 3 minutes.

Positives

Our midfield is good save for an AMF.

Joel Obi is an asset. Can play two man midfield as he did against Poland and he can play as a LMF in a 4-3-3 Formation. He covered Idowu well on the left side.

Ndidi is getting bold day by day and that's a good one.

With Mikel Obi, Onazi and Ndidi, we are good to go. Meaning, Mikel Obi plays the AMF role.

Victor Moses is a game changer.

Aina has a bigger heart than Idowu though Idowu offers defensively.

Iwobi is comfortable in the middle but he can't really open space. One for the future.

Awaziem is ok.

We can finally see our weaknesses now and make corrections now. That's a good one.

First off, you ran down our team, a team you couldn't even be bothered enough to see Live, despite having the opportunity, now you are spewing the same regurgitated nonsense about a washed up striker that has how many goals in China?

I'm sure if Obagoal and Onomah, Aluko and co were in this team, no traffic would have stopped you from seeing the match.

I even like what has happened. The team performs better when they are bashed so it's good for us

grin

I don't wanna go there, but if you can dig, you will find your answer.

Tactically we failed Tonight. No cohesion, no intelligent and swift Link-up Plays except few flashes, no tactical off Ball Movements...... it's apparent we don't have a Team without Mikel.

I hope the Lapses are fixed before the Wembley Showdown!

Lessons learnt from Nig vs Srb

1) Joel is over hyped. People of this thread can over hype for Africa and the universe. I'm not saying you he guy is bad but simply overrated on this thread

2) Without Mikel, our Midfield is totally empty no matter who is deployed.

3) Moses is a catalyst. We lacked fire power, threat and creativity in the final third as soon as he left.

4) If e no be Ekong-Balogun, e no fit be like Ekong-Balogun

5) We don't have a Left Back yet. Idowu was below par/ average again. The 3-5-2 formation is where he can thrive. Although he's not bad for a bench candidate

6) Uzoho deserves to be number one in Russia.
aAmong Ezenwa and Akpeyi

7) Those who clamour for Ajagun, Aluko and some notable AMs have the right to do so.

8.) cool Rohr already knows his team 95 percent. Its evident as agu and Ajayi could only come in in the last few minutes.

9) Ighalo surely deserves to be our number one striker in Russia. Just put Mikel behind him and he won't lack the ball.

10) Iwobi is useless as a winger. He can only thrive in a more central position, and he can give you goals or assists. A talented player though but still has a lot to learn.
Moses Simeon is still the beat man in the Wing position alongside V. Moses.

11) Tyronne, a very talented player but really inexperienced and very soft/ light. Shehu still has a claim.

12) 3-5-2 and 4-2-3-1 is the most suitable and ideal for our team- To pack the midfield

Gernot Rohr, I hope he takes note.

...... talking about other Teams' losses ain't gonna make us better than them pls. We should focus on analyzing the Team, figure out the Weaknesses and the Ways out.

I believe we gonna have more Realists on this Forum than the Optimists. This set of Eagles is for the Future. If you put too much hope on them to win the World Cup this Year, you are OYO!
Abi ooo. For the people forming Arséne Wenger of 15/16 season talking about "Cohesion" and "team spirit" as an excuse not to try out players are seeing it. We need an AM. Aluko should be invited for the next friendly. I don't mind trying out Samuel Kalu and Dessers for flair and attacking options.

Joel Obi having a poor game doesn't mean he's a bad player. Anyone who has watched him at Torino will agree. Still think he's better on the ball than Onazi.
Regardless, I wouldn't be surprised if Rohr drops him for the WC and uses him more after the world cup.
