Just observing... It does appear "onegentleguy"s" recommendation on his "united nollywood company" may have some merit afterall. I confess I am not a fan of stock tips; giving or taking, but just doing this rejoinder cos i criticised his recommendation when it was made. I don't have any inside or proprietary information but have taken a closer look at the following 1. New products by UAC and its subsidiaries on supermarket stalls. Low price competitor to some of Nestle's best. 2. Emerging Paradigm change by management as it's now seeing itself as an agri- and food based company rather than a conglomerate 3. Shuttering of non profitable subs...a major divestment likely under way to follow UBA style share allocation 4. The slow but steady progress of share price not pulled up by bulls nor dragged down by bears Just my opinion for reasons stated earlier. Not an invitation to buy or sell as my observations may turn out not to be correct. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 11:35am On Mar 28, 2018 |
sellydion: Instead of assumptions flying around, I think what we should be concerned about is the fact behind this facility intervention. If Japaul had written to SEC saying that they already entered into a binding agreement, I think its not fair on the part of the company for media houses to just be assuming things, hiding under irrelevances (such as someone not picking or responding to phone calls) to justify their claims. Too many things being done wrong in this country in actual fact. Not speaking for or against here, but let the media pursue the substance instead of the shawdow and come up with credible evidence. Many companies are dying for lack of fund, and, if few ones had gotten investors, I think the right thing is not to bring politics or sentiments into it. |
