Thanks for your response. I may include the relevant debits from my bank statements and highlight it for the processing officer. i was not aware we had to prove source of funds. Is this ok?

You are good to go with the mutual fund letter if it is in CIC's format. @Cochtrane and some other people used mutual funds only but the issue with yours is the top-up stuff. How will you prove the source of the fund? Well, it all depends on you.

letter of authorization yet I could get it.
Even contacted a lawyer in trnc no way.
Mailed/ called my sch international office/ student service no way.

mailed my sch rector/ assistant rector no response.

contacted Turkish embassy no way

mailed / tweet trnc ministry of foreign affairs no reply yet.

But surely I knw I will get this doc without going to trnc.

@ Guitarlife: if I may ask, why Eko Hotel? Are you going to be set out from Lekki or something? Issue is that if you are coming from the Mainland, getting to Eko Hotel first is like passing your destination and then going backwards.

Can one use a year paid internship to claim a year work experience? Since people use one year NYSC as a year work experience, so can someone who did a year IT after OND claim one year work experience too?

An answer is expediently needed.

It is not an assumption it is a question. Most avenues into Lagos start from Mainland with the exception of the Epe route...you get my reasoning?

I (personally) would not want to stay at Eko Hotel when I want to cut cost. Let him just answer the question. However, it simply did not occur to me that Eko Hotel is an accomodation, all I was thinking was "somebody is dropping him off at that roundabout because that is where all the commerical vehicles plying most routes are"

Sometimes what we are asking for may not be exactly what we need. It happens to me all the time. This is why I often ask "what exactly are you trying to acheive" instead of just answering the question asked.

If this internship was part of the requirements for your studies, then I'm afraid it will not count as part of work experience. Internships and apprenticeships completed before graduating do not count as skilled work experience. They are considered part of an educational program.

If it wasn't, then it would count as long as you were not a full-time student at the time. However, you must have gained the equivalent amount of experience as someone who worked full-time for at least one year (1560 hours)
