He lied
He said "does that mean I can use my 2001 Camry for Uber" and that was 7 days ago, meaning he's been driving for like 3 days now

dru23:

I see am at first... but I figured he meant to say he was driving a 2001 camry for two months and he now noticed that uber actually accepts cars from 2000. Make he come explain himself sha ... make we give him time

Got a 2.9 surge request yesterday on VI, the rider is on Adeola Odeku and I will as coming from Ajose Adeogun, I couldn’t get to her for 2 hours. After several pleading to wait for me. She just didn’t answer my calls.

If you are not in a surge area, don’t rush to surge and if you will have to do that do it wisely.

I think it's not fair for you to have kept a rider waiting minimum 2 hours, 2.9x surge or not! Put yourself in her shoes!

Omo how far bro... the civic is doing great and the driver is also doing good. We had inspection yesterday, my top manager was impressed by the way the guy dress and how neat he was ... she was very happy... the rental was 40k a week the guy was asking us to bring it down. I said we can do 37k weekly, but I look am and said ask the guy how much he want pay... the guy please 35k and than it was 35k that I agreed to. They guy even used his own money to fix minor things in the car ..I was impressed, sometimes if we are patient in life u never know what great rewards awaits you... by the way you said you hustle quietly so does that mean that me dru23 is a noise maker.. Hmmmm just saying ooo. Below are the pics of the car

She was also willing to wait as there was no car available that moment. Thought I’d reach her earlier but the traffic tie wrapper.

So some riders did me dirty last night. Taxify request came in as i was dropping off a rider at Classique event centre. Pick up was Alausa bus stop; destination, Isaac John. I checked google map as always, saw full red on Mobolaji Bank Anthony and showed these nonsense ladies but they insisted on going through Opebi link so Opebi link we faced.
In about 8 minutes we got to Sheraton and they saw stand still traffic. Then i started hearing "shey we no go just come down cross go the other side to request another cab like this, this traffic tie wrapper oo"
My cool demeanor changed immediately. I'm pained it wasn't a card trip, i would have shown them we are in this together.

fare was 700 and the idiot still wanted to collect 100 change for the 800 she presented. The look i gave her fah undecided

Moral lesson: put your foot down on routes sometimes, they might even thank you for it eventually

Lol! It happened to me twice, more reason I hate airport riders, always late to catch flight and pin it on you as if you are the reason for their lateness. These 2 ladies requested for a ride from lekki phase 1 going to shoprite at toll gate around 6pm and I warn them of the traffic and situation out there. They said "No problem" so deh keep directing on short cut until we get to the road deh are constructing that lead to admiralty. We have not even spend up to 10 mins in the traffic and the next thing I hear babe "is like we go take okada" deep within I was like you girls you better stop this play.... Next I hear! Oga end the trip... I was forced to ask, what happens to me? Did i just open my eyes and drove into traffic? Or if I have to spend 2 hrs here, the cost is on me? Oga! We have change our mind, we are not going again, just end the trip. I just told them to get down and keep the 700 naira to dia self. Ladies can b so devilish and inconsiderate most time

Oga, u dont av to insult me okay? My first post was just to sample the mind of people on the forum as there are so many negetive talk about the type of cars to be used. So, i had to post that. This should not resolve into any insult this is i av been doing for 2months and u cannot do anything to it. If i lie what do u stand to gain? Pls be mature to encourage people on this platform. I am proud to use my TOYOTA CAMRY 2001 for Uber. I drive my car myself. So? If u av any issue pls deal with it. Guys pls dont be discourage. And for your life dont ever call me a fool again.

You don't encourage people by telling lies.. Nobody has the time for games bro... we want facts, this is the same way we get uber / taxify drivers that come here and post rubbish.. And if we do find out we deal them accordingly. How do you expect us to have believe what you say... we have people that have seriouslly invested millions of naira on uber including me.. So I don't need someone to come on the platform to lie..

On your previous post few days ago. You asked if uber allows cars from 00 model and someody took their time to reply you . And two days later or so you posted you have been using your 01 camry for two months v6 .... I first notice it, but I figure maybe you type in error or you meant the opposite of what you wanted to say. Until this morning few posted your rubbish. This forum is for serious minded people here... I have read my riot act now for anybody that might want to do the same. Coz dru23 will hunt you down and ether you with his savagery memes. Let this be a lesson to others... uber forum is not a joke to play on people feelings

And take this too

Morels when on traffic go offline, till you get to a clear place.
The issue of women, Only God knows why they are like that, because they are paying you for services, in there heart they own you. When I call about a request, the response I get, I already know the kind of person coming. Some are nice tho
