Elfmannisback:Still processing my copy to have a personal encounter. However I was adviced by a senior colleague to use IQAS because WES doesn't give a favourable report. The bolded information I have confirmed it personally. |

Jolao: I think that line means that if you send the request from Canada when you are not legally living in Canada or usa it will be rejected. |

vickyehi:We know the bold. WES favors HND and OND while IQAS doesn't, IQAS favors LLB while WES doesn't.. So they complement each other.. However, we await ur RN and RM ECA report from IQAS as WES dey call them secondary school diploma abi not comparable to anything sef. |

subzero007:Exactly. Seeing is believing. A lot of nurses have thrown away cash and time to WES. We welcome the discovery. Those nurses are good practically.. Canada sef don dey mad for paper tiger. |

Good morning!! Things I have learnt on Nairaland: “The fear of banishment to Page 0 is the beginning of wisdom” However, it is the Easter season and May the good Lord forgive you in advance for any “tasi” or “ela” or “isho” that you may be considering to bestow on me for my innocent questions Aaaaanyway, just wanted to get some clarification re a couple of things 1. GCMS Notes: I’ve seen the getgcms site and I assume the option to select is the eGCMS option that costs 15USD? Also when is it okay to request the notes considering it takes a fair bit to come through. AOR was 22nd Feb and MEP was March 1st. Is it too early? 2. Application Stages: I genuinely am not sure how to read this properly. I saw this quote below from my trawling through the nairaland universe -( By the way there’s a loooooot of things on this Nairaland thatbyour eye will see, that maybe you wish you could unsee ) “Background Check: This changed from “Not Applicable (NA)” to “Next Step to conduct BG Check (NBG)” aka IP1- 03-May “Next Step to conduct BG Check” to “Not Applicable (NA)” aka NA2– 06-May “Not Applicable” to "We are processing your background check" aka IP2- 27-Sep” However, I’ve also seen some general comments that seem to indicate that the wording might be slightly different. The question though is how can you conclusively know what stage you’re at in the process. Especially as you could have gone from NA to something else and Back to NA. And it’s not like the 1st and 2nd NA wear “different uniform” Does one get an email notification for every single step change? 3. Identifying the appropriate Visa Office: This should probably have been No.1 as I believe that this is what I should confirm BEFORE asking for/considering the GCMS Notes. If yes, how do I do this again? Yeah yeah I've seen it asked before but everyone should have at least one “Get out of Page 0 Jail free” card. Thanking you in advance and Congratulating all PPR collectors,ITA Receivers, WES Champions and IELTS survivors so far. As is always said, It will end in praise 3 Likes |

In the last 6 year I have working as a placement officer in a Study Aboard Agency for 3 year, currently in a culinary school and over 1 year experience as a cook(still working). With my little research I am eligible to for either FSW or FST but I cannot find my first occupation on the NOC's list and my second occupation has to be verified by a provincial trade body(I have started that process). Please I need help to locate first occupation on the NOC's list since I have more work experience in it. 1 Like |

BoboXIV: 1) Yes, it is too early. 2) I want to believe you meant 27 March. You are in IP2. 3) There is a detailed email process but I don’t think it’s necessary cos a) they’ve stopped replying people b) your application is being processed in good time so I think you should just relax ya body. *They don’t send an email for every account update if not you’d have received one every time. |
cc: All Dear Poster, This situation is very straight forward and uncomplicated. Let wife receive the money from parents and the couples can explore these two options; 1. Received funds remain in the account of wife, and she gets a gift deed done stating where the fund came from and finally she writes a letter of explaination highlighting availability of funds to her hubby for the purpose of immigration 2. Couple walks into a Stanbic IBTC bank and open a joint mutual fund account to invest the received fund, when the time is ripe (POST-ITA) they can request for an embassy letter from Stanbic ibtc asset management limited.(this option has been explored by many of my colleagues including my humble self) 1 Like 3 Shares |

Don’t put yourself under undue pressure. IP2 in just 35 days is a fantastic movement. I would advice you relax and intensify your prayers PPR is around the corner. If you want to know your visa office( call. +1 (613) 944-4000) but it calls for a lot of patience, waiting time may be for as much as 40mins. Good Luck |
