Hello everyone. I have a 2003 Nissan Altima and I have not be able to successfully fix some recurring problems for sometime now. I believe it is time I visit a Nissan specialist mechanic / auto repair shop in Lagos, so any pointers you have will be very appreciated. Below are issues I currently have with the car: 1. Stiff steering, especially when reversing. I did get it fixed, but recently I noticed a leakage which turned out to be the power steering oil. A local mechanic said it was the seal, but we later realised after replacing the seal that it was the hose. They replaced the so called hose, stoped the leakage, but now I am back to a stiff steering 2. Wobbliness of the wheels. Happens whenever I speed up to or above 40 miles/hour. The front wheels starts wobbling and I feel it in the steering. Used to be worse before, including when I apply the brakes at that speed, but someone worked on my suspension and now it is better but still occurs. At this rate, I cannot travel with the car. I can't even speed well on 3MB. 3. AC problems. 4. Electrical problems. My horn just stopped working. One of my fans works whenever it likes. My music system won't play CDs. My front speakers are not working. Sometimes, one of my break lights won't come on e.t.c Kindly advice where in Lagos I cant take this car to, for proper and authentic repairs by Nissan specialists. I am really tired of the experimentation and guess work of our general mechanics. Thanks. 1 Like 1 Share |

Its heartwarming to know that such a forum like this exist. I have read through the whole posts on the forum and therefore want to pay commend the efforte of @nissanparts, @costee, @nobody @gazzuzz, among others. You guys have really assisted people here on this forum. I have learned a lot reading through all the comments. I actually love the Infiniti fx series but the challenges @dranma and co faced with expense made realise that it may be better to look at the G35 and particularly the M35. Gentlemen, please, would you recommend any of the two? I think the M35 series stated from 2006. So anything between 2006 and 2008 is OK for me. The G35 is from around 2002 I think. 2003 to 2007 is OK too. Then finally, am skeptical about buying used ones or can someone go for |

The G35, M35, and FX35 all have the same engine and transmission. The difference is in the taste. |

Costee:Thank you oga Costee for your response. But you only answer part of the question. I said can I go for Nigerian used for the G35, M35. I even saw a very neat fx45 online that is in the east. Or should I opt for Cotonou? Thanks |

adelowo4u:Go for whatever is well maintained. Wires and harnesses have to be relatively intact and in situ. |

Hello house, is it true that Nissan Serena space bus is pron to over heating? |
Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by nurey(m): 7:02pm On Mar 31, 2018 |
gabbyfarms: overheating keh nah the Serena is a good cargo van with its mini shape nd ample cargo space. this car is best with the SR20DE engine or the 2.3 diesel engine, leave the 1.6 or 1.8 engines too sluggish, you will identify them by replacing the 20 in the engine number with 16 or 18 it is a mid engine rear wheel drive or 4WD, mostly comes in manual, but the high grade SLX has a five door with automatic could be rear to come by in naija. I also intend to buy it reason for my knowledge on it, I have already done my home work for it though no cash yet to make the purchase. it's a good buy when well taken care of I know a lot of people using it as a cargo van started from 1991 to 2002 model years |
