Rita, it was really bad na. Imagine I went to club and had enough alchohol and stuff only to come home by 1 am and meet bad food. I nearly cried. I just had to eat some meat to hold my tummy.

If you work hard for your money, why should you settle for bad food?

A woman who doesn't know how to cook will kill you before your time. If you keep eating crap, you're abusing your body. You're not giving your body premium tools to rejuvenate itself. You will just age before your time.

Please, no man should put up with a woman who can't cook unless of course you guys have worked out an alternative arrangement from the very beginning.

Cooking is not a hard skill to learn my dear. In fact when I met my husband at 23 I did not know how to cook anything. Obviously I started learning and within a year I was almost a chef. It’s all about the willingness to learn the skill and consistency. Now the bigger concern should be men who cannot provide for their families, because that’s a bigger issue that most men cannot do and never do. Focus on that, and leave the cooking issues and rantings to the women

minutes later she sent me a text telling me its over that I don't appreciate her and that since I know how to cook I should be cooking for myself, I was only correcting her what's the appreciation there, I should appreciate her for something she didn't do right?

I'm not shocked you didn't agree. People who take offense are teases are high maintenance people that you would need to walk around eggshells around. Have you considered the fact that perhaps being so forthright with her would have led to the same issue?

It is better for the one with the fragile ego to move on and look for another victim.

that's why i was saying on some other thread its important we guys also learn how to cook. Many young ladies these days when they are in their parents home they refuse to learn the technique of cooking. In the evenings when their moms are sweating in out in the kitchen they will be in the sittingroom watching tv and if their mom call them to join her in the kitchen they will be grumbling cheesy

. Even before i got admitted into the univ i already knew how to cook..no biggie about it cheesy

. As for ur sister just stop her from cooking and u should handle it but if u don't have time then its better u eat out.

If she is willing to learn, you guys can explore learning how to cook together. There are many Nigerian food websites and youtube videos to teach you how to make amazing Nigerian dishes.

If she is not willing to learn, please, move on. No man deserves to eat rubbish after they have hustled morning and night for money.

Call her and apologize, there is no shame in doing that. But that doesn't mean you have to put up with crap food going forward. Just let her know she has to improve. If she doesn't want to take this correction, please cut your losses and move on.
