Ebubemg, is ds statement correct? Answer with a fear of God!!!
Any app that doesn't come with stock android is bloatware.

2. Do we have bloatwares on stock Android? Yes! All smartphones get bloatwares...but only the user will categorise useful apps and bloatwares.

Like someone earlier said, bloatware is subjective. If I'm not a Gmail user, I'll say Gmail app is bloatware whereas someone else using Gmail app sees it as necessity!

My only objection with Mr Henry on this issue of bloatwares is: don't generalise responses. And abeg, no one carry Xiaomi matter for head, at least, I no carry am for head, and no one de hating/attacking him for here. There's always a need to correct wrong assertions, except you think that's a waste of resources.

Thanks Boss,
Let me use the opportunity to clear the air about Bloatwares and why Samsung users always complain bitterly

Bloatwares are the apps added by OEM or Carriers that you cannot remove since they are system apps, they take space and ram of recent Samsung gives you opportunity to disable them..

I have S8 At & T apps cannot be removed, likewise Samsung apps..

Xiaomi do come with Bloatwares wares, however the Chinese ROM..

Global version comes with MIUI, Google play services and promotional apps like Kingsoft office and Swift key, Amazon etc.. you can remove the promotional apps since they are categorize as downloaded apps and not system apps.

Hope we have all learnt something new.. I'm out of Bloatware discussion... kiss

Are you even listening to your self? You said i shouldn't call him a marketer cos he said Miui has bloatwares nd i said i called him a marketer based on the fact that just like other tecno and Infinix marketers he opens threads up and down to advertise this products and he is paid to give his BIASED review on them, and you said you're not talking of other threadssad
please read what you wrote again and see if it makes senseundecided
Please check his threads and comments apart from the ones he makes here and see if he's a marketer or not.

download system app remover from play store
note: don't delete what you don't know its function, before you start deleting make a backup first
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any app u don't know its function that you want to remove before removing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Wagasigiungu(m): 12:48pm On Apr 02, 2018
The thread is fast loosing its focus. I personally believe everyone is entitled to share their opinion hereon- whether wrong or right. This is a public forum please. It behoves the questioner to do his homework properly before acting on the advice given. There are bound to be differences in opinion. We should at the very least, be civil in ironing out our differences and correcting each other.

That being said, I think henry007 reserves the right to post and share his views hereon, even though some maybe wrong or right. No one knows it all (check my signature). If you feel strongly about his wrong posts, kindly correct him appropriately. It is such differences in opinion that bring about intellectual discourses and at the end of it all, we are better informed. This thread has more silent readers and visitors than actual commenters. I just SMH at some of the comments being posted by some prominent people on here.

N. B. Note that even the original poster (@ibawon) no too carry the thread for head. If this were whatsapp or telegram group some ppl would hv used their draconian/dictatorial attitude to boot some people out.

I have heard so much fumes about these Xiaomi phones... Someone should convince me to a buy a Xiaomi phone. I think I like the specs of Redmi 4. The question now boils down.. Is the phone durable? Or I should stick to a HTC phone towards to that amount?..

Which particular Redmi 4? Redmi 4x or Redmi 4a? Any HTC phone can't stand any Redmi device at similar price unless you want to go flagship, what's your budget?

have u tried test point method? That's the worst case scenario, download the correct fastboot rom and flash via test point. Phones are really hard to permanently brick these days, even if you download wrong rom or firmware once the updater script is good it wont flash
test point is also not working. whats giving me hope is that my computer still beep when i connect my phone to it and Qualcomm hs-USB in the device manager can still recognize the phone

The best HTC phone in the same price range with any Redmi 4 version is MTK processors and 1 or 2 GB RAM... sad

Redmi phone are the best cost effective phones out there with snapdragon processors metal body in most cases..

The choice is yours.. A trial will convince you.. lipsrsealed
