Read my quote and this time do it slowly and apply common sense.
How is it my cup of tea if you are pissed at me, ohhhh I guess, u hold me in high esteem, well I am sorry to burst your bubble, what said is the truth.

There is something called professionalism and ask Romeo, I have bin following his diary on facebook and on NL, he does not not speak to riders except if spoken to, if your rider speaks to you then answer with a bit of professionalism, I believe you are amongst those who prefer to follow the crowd without thinking of creating a niche for yourself.

So let's say you walk into a bank to pick up your cheque book and the customer service starts by saying ..," Sir am having a bad day my husband slapped me this morning bla bla bla" eventually you pick your cheque book and leave.
You will now come to NL and cry or write a petition to the bank MD and start whining..... " Miss Gloria at bank xyx, you were talking plenty........."
Stop being stupid bro. What's wrong with u? Life is ball. Its rolling with things left right and center.
Why you making an issue.
Move on bro. Haba

While I agree that the driver should have known his limit, I think the guy that brought the issue here is just being unnecessarily petty, and trying to make a mountain out of an ant hill.

Well I have seen the level of your I.Q and as such won't stoop low to banter words with you neither will I condescend to your level by using words like "stupid" to make a baseless point.
Now let me tutor you a bit by using your example. Every biz gat it's own dynamics and your reference using banks customer care is actually lame.
In uber biz, in as much as you are rendering a service, intelligence will let you know WHEN to strike a conversation (In this instance, it's best for the rider to start the convo), intelligence will also let you know HOW to maintain professionalism in the course of the ride.
Still on it, low ratings would make you get blocked and then you would be suspended for a while, how do you avoid that?
Driving is a job, be professional about it.
Bro, I won't reply you anymore cuz my first paragraph shows it would be a waste of time.

To the guy who said I am trying to create a mole hill, I was only giving tips on reason why some drivers are rated poorly but if you see it as me bin petty then its speaks volume on how you comprehend things.

I think it's high time you guys dropped the subject and move on. What @Dovehorizon thought was a teachable moment has boiled over to a back and forth redention of emotions. When one party calls the other stupid as @BusterG did and in response a suggestion of low I.Q. is used as a counter, emotions have taken rather than a civil discourse.

Let me explain our worries.

The experienced drivers already know how the business runs, and using them is less of a risk.

The new drivers will need about a month to learn the ropes. The question is at who's expense?

This is business, same with any kind of job in the formal sector, they will always look at your resume' and first thing they look out for is experience cheesy wink

but do not be discouraged, there are people out there willing to take a chance cheesy

They don't get it, instead of asking for experience, ask for upfront payment for the week.

I am a newbie and yet I make money. Go figure

I don’t believe in d experienced driver thingy. It’s all about how long u can be on the road and luck. A driver posted 18hrs daily work and I come dey fear for him life. Nothing in dis world will make me drive 18hrs a day unless my daughter is on life support machine and I need money to keep her alive(GOD FORBID). I’ve been driving uber for more than 2yrs, started as a driver renting cars and today, I own a car all from d proceeds of driving uber and offline trips. I work on a target. I do 10k daily from Monday to Thursday and 15k daily from Friday to Sunday. Some days, it doesn’t take me more than 3hours to make my 10k and some days, luck will just shine and I’d meet those clients that prefer offline and need u for the whole day. 20 to 25k is sure on those days. God will do what he says he will do
