IS THE MARKET (NSE) READY FOR "RESURRECTION"? grin grin grin

Looking at the NSE close last trading day, candlestick pattern shows an engulfing candle, which Technically indicate possibility of reversal from downtrend. But the engulfing candle appearance has no meaning if its occurrence is not at the demand level (Support) and also weak volume is not encouraging - Chart 1. Weekly candlestick shows indecision in the market, meaning possibility of downtrend continuation or a reversal to uptrend... - Chart 2

Before I can start picking stocks to buy, I need a close of NSE index above the dotted black line as shown in Chart 1, but preferably I need the market to fall further to the anticipated level (highlight). Then we can flow with the market if such engulfing candle/bullish pin-bar appears at the highlighted zone.

Wishing you all a Happy Easter.

thanks guys I have been able to see NSE banking index on investing.com

attached is my NSE banking index technical analysis using elliot wave theory, its now at a wave 4 correction which is usually a result of profit taking after a strong bullish or bearish wave 3 rally or selloff. However, the correction seems to be complete so I would expect an impulsive breakout then buy the pullback of course with help from you guys. never bought a stock in my life lol, I have only been trading forex and commodities.

not a sixth but an extension it does happen, also 5th wave can truncate. hence its important to acknowledge fundamental factors I agree.

I dont trade stocks but all market behave the same

My dear I see u are relatively new to this space so 1st, I'd like to say a big welcome to u Sir !!

At 1st glance, I can tell from ur few post that u might be a good chartist. ...but I must warn u that the trading in stocks is of 'a different lane' to that of forex and commodities.
Yes their rudimentary understanding might be of the same pattern, but with stocks there's usually an added unknown factor with a bit of everything, especially in this clime.
...with the trading in stocks, very little things can change everything !!
So pls always allow caution to be ur watchword.
...try not to be too ahead of urself even as a professional chartist, so u won't have 'to pay a very expensive NSE school fees. (...surely u'll pay some school fees with time, but let it not be so much).

Just a sincere advice my dear.
One small, u are welcome Sir. ...we hope that u bring to bear ur many technical Ideas to supplement those of Sir Fxuser and Bullbearmkt here.

I wish u well in ur endeavours !!

thanks for the warm welcome. very good advice sir, risk management is always my priority in forex I set automatic stops and risk max of 2% of my capital for any given trade. not sure any stock platform in Nigeria has that feature so I might set aside a % of my overall capital to invest in any stock
