Ok now I have joined BigFrancis21 in being jealous of you or MBA holders?

Do you know how stu.pid you sound if everyone that expresses divergent opinions from yours has to be jealous of you who has achieved nothing and is yet to even be accepted into an MBA program?

Just let him be. I stopped responding to him when he said I am envious of him. Everyone who knows me personally knows that I am very far from that. I don't envy people. Sometimes when you are telling our people how things truly are, they think you are jealous of them. Except you are telling them exactly what they want to hear, you are envious or jealous of them. Notice how every veteran here currently in the US has tried to caution his exuberance but he thinks he knows it all more than us. It is good to aim high and have high dreams but at the same time be reasonable. Experience they say is the best teacher. America is not as easy as newly arrived Nigerians always think. Few months later reality will set in. It happens to everyone.

Just let him be.

What do I do if I paid on one SEVIS ID number and now want to go to a different school

If you have not received a visa or if you are visa exempt and have not applied for nonimmigrant status at the POE, you can apply the I-901 SEVIS Fee that you already paid to another Form I-20 or DS-2019 if you meet the basic rules for reapplying fees.

Follow the directions for requesting that SEVP move your fee payment.

How do I ask SEVP to transfer the I-901 SEVIS Fee payment information from one SEVIS ID number to another?

I-901 Fee transfer requests can now be made directly from www.fmjfee.com. To request a fee transfer from the website, you will need to begin by checking your payment status. Once the information is entered, you will be taken to your I-901 records. If there is a valid fee payment on your record a request transfer button will appear next to the print confirmation button. Once you select this transfer option you will be prompted to enter your new SEVIS ID, ........

As a rule of thumb, thread caution when citing these employability figures. 100% in nature is usually a figment and tool of brand marketing. The reality is often at variance with those stats.

But that is not to say that HBS grads do not earn well nor am I against MBAs at all. My position is, the post-life success of MBA grads from top schools is not as sweeping as your link or you are trying to make it look.

I can just toss you a few bones that puts my argument into perspective. The odds are, that the folks in HBS are already children of the rich whose parents already own companies or are CEOs of those companies. Therefore, their employment report will already be skewed because they would have gotten said jobs without the MBA.

Next, employment reports in themselves do not tell a complete story. Ask yourself how those reports were put together. The simple fact is they were arranged through questionnaires and polls many of which are as simplistic as "are you working post HBS"? and to that end, even the Uber guy I met would have clicked yes.

Then, some other % of the HBS entrees are people who already had great jobs and their respective companies opted to pay for the MBA for them. So they already had those jobs before getting into HBS.

Lastly, there are people like that uber guy I met who opted for entrepreneurship and may or may not make it because they took a detour that did not yield the financial windfall they desired.

In all of these, it is clear that though HBS and other top MBA programs can lay claim to part of the success of their graduates, it is the INDIVIDUALS themselves that make the difference. Which puts paid to the 100% fib of an employment report or the notion that HBS graduates can never be poor.

Though I am tired of the back and fort
totally agree with this ....

Again, your analysis shows you know nothing about MBA recruitment

Let me educate you

MBA employment reports (mostly for business schools programs) are more detailed than answering yes or no questionnaires

We have average salaries, median salaries, salary ranges (start point and end points). From these statistics, you will know what the lowest earner earns and what the highest earner earns. That gives you a clearer picture that solves the ($50+$150) and ($100+$100) conundrum. It also tells you when data is being skewed by few people that earn well. I know you don't know this cos you rely on beer parlor gists and advices from friends (who probably don't know jack about MBAs)

Moving on, MBA employment reports are well detailed and they provide data on people that join specific industries. There is data for people that joined consulting, finance, tech, non profit etc. You see their salary ranges there, median, min and max. This data helps you know certain industries that pay better than others. Also you know what the least earner earns in a specific industry.

Also an MBA employment report has data for people who return to work for their previous employers and people who already have job offers before graduation. These people usually make up less than 10% of an MBA class (another flaw in your analysis). If you look at an MBA employment report, they are captured under people that are "not seeking employment". This data captures people heading to entrepreneurship, company sponsored or those heading back to their family businesses. Again, you don't know this and you opened your mouth to spew thrash.

Also, an MBA employment report is very much accurate and verifiable. Data there are crosschecked by most organizations and are used for rankings. For instance, George Washington University Business School was unranked last year by USNews cos they tampered with their data. So your idea that MBA data reports are flawed is wrong.

So while filling an MBA report, your Uber guy will have to fill not only his job role, but also his job industry, job title salary value, job location, how he got the job and several other information.

An MBA employment report is not a one line data statement. It's a comprehensive report with lots of relevant information there. I won't bother showing you one cos it will mean educating you for free. I even doubt your low IQ will comprehend it.

Finally, I pity for a prospective MBA student wey go come meet you for advice. You go fill him brain with false information you learn from your beer parlor gists. If you don't know anything, STFU and keep mute.

Oga you be learner
Full time learner!!!

He went into entrepreneurship after an MBA. Something he was passionate about. If he had gone into consulting or finance, he wouldnt have been in a tight financial condition.

Entrepreneurs earn lowest after their MBAs cos their projects take lots of time to mature. An example of Mira Mehta of Tomato Jos

So if you ain't showing me any HBS MBA grad into consulting, Finance or tech doing Uber, you're just saying something you know nothing about

What has the poster done wrong? Is he giving false information? He is only enlightening many others who may be on the fence. The MBA stats are very detailed to the core. A small Google search from the top sites will do to correct the wrong info given on this thread.

Anyone who does not know much about his/her courses should better remain in Nigeria instead of wasting his time and money in the USA or elsewhere. Many of these folks who are not fully educated about the choices may regret their options after years of hard work.

The world is now a smart one. No way I go for any course without knowing why I am going for that. Thank you. This argument should end here.

You need to understand that talk is cheap because the supply for it outweighs the demand.

That is why I laugh hard when I see ignoramuses hyperventilate. I know they are trying to use words to make up for the intelligence that nature did not grant them.

There was some other guy who was questioning my intelligence on this same thread when I recommended caution in the way he was blowing hot air. Few weeks later, Mr Man came here to post 278 GRE.

One trait of an intelligent person is caution. They know that the right answers or decisions are seldomly in the extremes. Even the standardized tests tell you: if the answer is too easily got, you are probably being trapped. If the solution is taking so long a time, you are taking a wrong step. There is always moderation in wisdom.

The OP who hastily generalized about HBS, realized his mistake and kept mum. He will re-evaluate what he believes and add to his knowledge. But trust a fool to use every opportunity to advertise his folly.

That guy is a packaged pseudo-Intellectual that is garmented in folly and delusion. It is not zeal, he is a misdirected dingbat. See how people who are in USA (some working and earning, others on full govt scholarships down to a return flight) are envying a rat that does not even know GRE or GMAT words.
