Atheist Fear Of God Or Hatred For Christianity by GoodMuyis(m): 1:27pm On Apr 03, 2018
The image below is compilation of Definition of Religion by Atheist Vexen Crabtree in 2013, updated in 2017. He did well to define all religion and Correctly Spell the Noun God in other religion. but when it get to Christianity, he deliberately use small letter god. This attitude is common to all atheist, even on Nairaland.

In English we all know that all Noun start with Capital, but sometimes it can be ignored. But when it comes the word God and god, every English speaking person or writer knew Both word mean different entity. But why would atheist claim ignorant of such if they claim to be intelligent or have a superb IQ.

Could this be Fear of God or Just Hatred for Christianity.

Right, what? That all nouns like "Child, Town, Granite, Kindness, Government, Elephant, and Taiwan" are always capitalised?

I wouldn't say that I knew that and often write them uncapitalised, and so do you it would seem from observing the uncapitalised nouns in your post above.

Anyway, atheists have been told on here that God is a title like, Chief and President, but we often speak of gods collectively, and not any particular 'God'. When most speak of a particular god, they tend to refer to it by name - Yahweh, Zeus, Obatala etc.

That said, some will write god, when a particular God is meant. The same arguments work for them all so why pick out any particular One?

Besides, the adoption of God for ones particular god is an attempt to elevate ones god above all other gods. Discerning atheists know not to play along.

The best thing Nairaland atheist do is to pick half part comment that suit them, thereafter build argument on it.

You break a whole statement, then later came back with injustice to proof half baked understanding.

That being said.

We have hundreds of President on earth and all of them rule over their respective Country.
If am talking to an American about their president it will be wise idea to mention Donald Trump and not Buhari. While Both Donald and Buhari are president, I will be an insane fellow to attribute them to all countries.

Talking to a Christian and you are avoiding the use of God which he accepts, that means you lack self confidence in your arguments and display.of cowordice.

As a Christian i cant be arguing for Zeus when I had notting to do with him.

BEFORE WE FORGET.
Back to the picture in OP, why would an atheist decided to use small letters god when it come to Christian definition while he use the correct spelling when defining atheism?
This is the issue at hand not English grammer

Cowardice? I would in fact call it confidence, for the atheist to refer to the Christian god as god. The atheist might get struck down dead for their audacity if that god actually existed and could do some of the things it has written to have done.

When talking to an American, I would say "Trump", actually, for if I said "President", why could I not be talking about my "President", Buhari, and not America's president? Besides, this is not me talking to an American, or God person, but to all here who will read this post, so why should I use words the way you would like me to?

The Christian god is just one other god as far as the atheist is concerned, and referring to it as God, is like saying it is some god greater than all the other things called god. To the atheist, not only is it not some god greater than all the other gods, it, in fact does not exist like all gods don't exist, and calling it "God", as opposed to "god", does not in anyway reduce its nonexistency, or increase it, from your perspective I would think.

False. The only word out of these that is always capitalized is Taiwan.

Re: the OP; I honestly find it irrelevant whether or not "God" is capitalized. Doesn't stand as proof that one exists at all. I typically say YHWH though when referring to the Christian deity -other than the Christ and Holy Spirit, that is. I'm also pretty sure if atheists "feared" God we'd be doing the opposite.

You are absolutely correct. You'll notice I struck it out in my subsequent post. Op set up straw with his initial "all know that all Noun start with Capital". He's the only one who seems to 'known' this, but still all his nouns were and have not been capitalised. I do agree with you entirely.

Oga It is still lack of confidence and fear of open-mind discussion, if you have nothing to fear then use acceptable God to appropriate person and not what you feel or fear. Am not worshiper of Ogun, why should be considering Ogun as Almighty God, even the worshipers of Ogun knew that there is a Personality/Being know as God Almighty and will never combine the two together.

Yahweh is the Name, but English man called him God not god or gods which is being plurality others

Now tell me the English name for each of Zeus, Buda, krishna, and other you may know

Now tell me the English name for Buda if you think using God is irrelevant

You began this thread with a question. Perhaps you should have just made it a statement, "Atheists call Yahweh god because they lack confidence or hate Christianity". It would have more accurately shown your intent.

Yahweh, Zeus, Obatala, Ogun etc are the names of gods and we refer to them as such. None of them appear to be as all mighty as you would like one to think or you would just call your one to strike dead anyone who does not refer to it as God! But, if you want to make up in your head and believe we can be so audacious out of fear for nonexistent things, then so be it.

The truth, which I feel you care not for is that I personally don't hate Christians, or even their god. I do however dislike people who make things up in their heads and convince themselves it's the truth even when opposing evidence kicks them in the face.

Do note, I am buda atum, with small letters b and a. You might want to unclose your mind.
