yes titthe was written in the bible but my worry as a christain is what means should tithe be collected. must bible said harvest, some people say proceed from your harevst. but i dont know which means. the truth is that church has beome a very big business. If pastors were able to use money collected as tithe to support government in some key project, like community bore whole, sponsoring of less privilege to school, developing community health centre I think. If it predates the law by those who chose to give it voluntarily out of spoils of war, why then is that the business of Christians who are followers of Christ?

If it predates the law and is not even the tithes that was in practice by the Jews, for which Christ mentioned it as part of the matters of the law in his parable about the Pharisee and the sinner, and for which Christ concluded that he will have mercy and not sacrifice, why then is such pre-law tithe then a burden to be introduced into Christianity by charlatans?

If you want to tithe, go to prisons, orphanages etc and give, When you give to those who need then you give to God. im not against tithing but know who to give, how can i give tithe to a pastor having jets when there is orphanage and Non governmental organisations
