They had 8 corner kicks and if this was the Liverpool without him we would have conceded at least two . Also Liverpool needed someone who could organize a defence and shout his lungs out. Van Dijk does that. Defending is not a one person thing and has lived up to the expectation of whatever WE BOUGHT HIM FOR. Also Klopp has stated we didn't buy him for this season , we bought him for next season. This season is like a learning course for him.

Crucifizio, this is exactly my point and i had told you about this before. Not about just doling money out when what you want to buy won't fix the problems detected. This man had already explained it.

Nobody is talking about spending money like a yahoo boy needlessly. Pay the amount on the exact players to solve your major problems, not shouting up and down about money being too much on such players. Lukaku would have slotted into our style, fvck the amount requested. Money spent on morata and giroud would have done well to get him. Even if it was 3 solid players we bought, our season wouldn't be pathetic as it is. What did we hear? Van dijk's price was too much. Lukaku's price was too much. Yet we went to buy bench warmers and injured players, for huge amounts.
