From a reliable source in the bank Headoffice, they are still battling with CBN. They want them to provision some Power loans. So you might need to take chill pill sir and let Mr TIME do its work on their share price while we await the result. As i am typing right now, the head of Power in Fidelity has been in Abuja since Tuesday to see CBN.
How reliable is this statement with the notice of late filing of result released yesterday?

Very much reliable and this might be one of the reason for the late filing.

They have a Rights coming. They have to maintain the share price at a level in preparation for the Rights.

Have they submitted the result to CBN or was it rejected cos Fidelity said they are yet to conclude auditing

My guess will be that the auditors are yet to sign off on the accounts. I will assume that they are yet to submit to CBN

They are finding it difficult to hide npls. They should be made to make proper provisions for npls like the other banks do, so that we can really know their worth.

They are not the only one. For them to deadlock with the auditors shows that it is material. Alternative may be for the auditors to QUALIFY the account which they will not want.

Definitely not looking rosy

Will Dangflour get to 12.4 to day? I pray but I doubt.
Eterna oil, my hit and run stock. This stock gives me 10% on a regular basis. The shareholders are simply nit sure of the true value, thus they keep shifting the goal post.

I do not believe in audited accounts. Research and experience have showed us how auditors connive with clients to hide material information from the public.... grin

How come you are invested in this market? If in doubt of any financials, just concentrate on the cashflow. It will give you a better direction to follow.

It seems the software used by the exchange has a lot of difficulty calculating 5% of equities below 20k, which could be in fractions (e.g. how are they going to apply 5% of 19k = 0.0095k). So, they may have just used diplomacy to limit equities to the 20k range till they resolve their next line of action.
let them just be minusing 1kobo or 2kobo till it gets to d bottom
