somehow: in as much as I dont rate him that much but his a CF, every striker operate differently, not all strikers are good in holding up play. |

Our young talents are good but world Cup stage is too big for them. They need more experienced guys to guide them. Nedum has played consistently in England for over a decade and Aiyenugba 's experience will come in handy |

somehow: we dont know because they have not been tasted there, but kayode actually didn't do well in laliga. he could not get the starting role and didn't record a goal in laliga |

Humility017:Sir you are getting it wrong on Martins and Ighalo, pls give them little respect they deserves. These guys did not start from Chinese league, better for you to look back before they moved to Chinese league. Try and ask yourself why we couldn't get a good AM to slug it out with Mikel who also play in China. Did you know Brazil qualification to WC involved China based players. Sir you mixed things up that are not justifiable in analysing Martins and Ighalo and try to always balance things up. 2 Likes |

tbaba1234: Kanu you mentioned is way better than Umar and Kanu wouldn't get some deal he got back then now, football has evolved |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by zuchyblink(m): 7:44am On Apr 06, 2018 |
It is very obvious that we don't have strikers. Iheanacho, moses and iwobi are our top scorers in recent times. They should be sharpened by the technical crew and unleash them on our opponents when hostilities commence in the mundial. Bringing in new strikers could upset the balance in the team |

tbaba1234: Sir the 35 man list don't look balance, taking 9 defenders and just 4 CB is not balance enough, what any of the CB get injured, Eze will make the list and maybe another player |

tbaba1234:Sir i disagree,Stuani is having a good run in la liga and no coach would bench such player. Kayode case was similar to Nacho at Leicester not getting playing time cos of Vardy and till today Nacho is finding it hard despite his quality, are we going to say Nacho lacks the pedigree. Kayode had two start for Girona with two assists and MOTM.I remember watching him against Deportivo with Uzoho in goal and am very happy as a Nigerian seeing two of them doing it,Kayode was awesome in that match. On Umar and Dessers i don't want to use 'IF' so nothing to say cos i know the quality of Dutch league. 2 Likes |

tbaba1234: Gks Uzoho Ezenwa Aiyenugba Akpeyi Alampasu/Okoye/Enyeama ...Why not Ajiboye cos Alampasu is not getting playing time, Enyeama too the same thing and Maduka lack the require experience so better to have one rookie which is Uzoho in the team. Defenders Balogun Ekong Shehu Idowu Ebuehi Aina Awaziem Omeruo Elderson.....Spot on Midfielders Mikel Onazi Ndidi Joel Obi Ogu Etebo Agbo...Rohr ?Ajagun should come in Agu....Rohr ?Alhassan or Kelechi should come in Ebere Eze ...I think Ajagun,Alhassan Muzzam and Kelechi Nwakili deserves a look in if you are considering Ebere Eze since we are having issue with AM,let them slug it out in camp and see who to deputise for Mikel. Strikers Iheanacho Iwobi Ighalo Musa V.Moses S.Moses Ideye Kayode Onyekuru Bazee...on what criteria, why not Samuel Kalu Dessers....is he better than Sadiq in Dutch league . Osimhen ...on what criteria, why not Awoniyi who is having playing time. Pls why did you left out Awoniyi Taiwo,Sadiq Umar and Samuel Kalu if you are considering Osimhen,Dessers and Bazee. 5 Likes 1 Share |

somehow:Martins ain't gon add no sh!t we ain't got before... Even if I was born last night, Nigga has failed to impress in GWG. The last he did was against kenya before 2010 WC. Mikel was a boss in that game but then, of course, it's Mikel the bad guy. He wasn't Okocha... Bla bla bla... Remember Yakubu had a goal in that game but they both turned out lame duck at the WC. 1 Like |

You surely know nothing about Martins or the Super eagles with the bolded. Certitude: Maybe you think Martins only came to limelight in one game under Keshi. Now i know who to give my time and attention to. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Mujtahida:Bro you cannot play in the edisivere if you don't have above average technique, I believe sodiq has that kind of smoothness maybe not to Kanu level, he sometimes has bad touches I think that the unorganized thing you see in his game. But when he's a more mature player he will be smoother on the ball. |

tbaba1234: Looks quite legit. You must have been following Rohr since he was born. These are players most likely to make the squad. But I'm not fully sold on Osimhen, Agu, elderson (would've preferred Ambrose to this fella), Joel obi(maybe needs more time to get), bazee (I've not watched his clips though), onyekuru (I've this strong feeling that this guy is overrated and will flop big time). |

Mujtahida: This is the home truth. The friendlies exposed the real Uzoho. He was just all over the place with this awkward feel about him like he was not a natural. Recall, he started out as a striker and only only converted to a goalie 5yrs ago. I'm not a fan of Alampasu, any regular here will know this, but I will rather go to war with him than Uzoho. If Uzoho wasnt based in Spain, will there be clamour for him to even be the 3rd choice gk? Your guess is as good as mine. 2 Likes |

somehow:Who is talking bout the one game under Keshi? If you could discern my point which of course you do not, I'm talking about 2010 WC and beyond. What r you going to say bout Yakubu who was ahead of Martins in the GWG even at his peak. They both disappointed in 2010 and it has never been the real them again in the GWG. |

Kog45:Sir. My comment said the last he did was against Kenya . And I was also referring to his post bout 90 or 2000 kids that even if I was born last night..... My point is that I really don't care about what happened 8 years ago. What has Martins done post kenya match till date in the GWG? 1 Like |
