The problem is ppl are misunderstanding the difference between strength and balance..Sodiq like most African players have great strength but lack proper balance...that's why he easily falls down at high speed..but his hold up play is great also..

Messi on the other hand has great balance but lil strength..ppl think because messi doesn't fall down easily is because he has strength which he doesnt, his high pace, trickery and great balance with close control makes it hard to get him of the ball without fouling him..

Attributes are not proven until tested.

When you say a player who has not played more than 20 professional games is. EXCELLENT TALENT that must be transferred to the field of play.

Why did he have to leave Seria A and Roma to come to the Belgium league Yes lack of opportunity agreed but if was that good then he should have been given opportunity in Seria A. Particularly as this a league his attributes of physicality speed and skill will give him clear advantage.

The way he continously falls over is a lack of strength and balance but I think there may be an issue of flat feet and poor ankle mobility as well. The way he falls over at the slightest physical confrontation for such a big guy is not normal.

Compare him to Tega Abrahams and Lukaku see the difference.

My biased view as some will call it, is he will not survive league 1 in England.

Nonetheless, I think he has potential but he hasnt shown enough yet to be called to the SE.

Unfortunately Obagoal is injured our only true top quality proven and tested striker.

Put those rankings in your trash. It doesn't always add up. Today Nigeria is ranked below 40 in the world. Can u beat your chest and say all the teams above us in the rankings will beat us. Similarly you cannot say a player is better than another just only because of the league they play. Put those rankings in the trash. While rankings can be a good reference point sometimes, but it does not hold most times in reality.
Would Kayode even manage to score a goal in Serie A? -- Let me use ur overplayed logic, what was Kayode doing at age 19?

forgiveness:

It is either you play in a top league or with a top club.

Kayode is playing with a top club better than all the clubs in Eredivise based on current form.

Is it true?

As lowly as Ukrainian league maybe to you, it's better than Eredivise.

Where is Eredivise and the best club in Eredivise on the list of best clubs and best leagues in the world.

Remove hatred and sentiment for your head and be objective for once. Thanks

Forget that, Ajagun has passed his prime
Only a miracle will give him a slot in 70 man list

What do you mean by prime?

Is it age wise or performance wise?

Abdul Ajagun has contributed 12 goals in 21 games as an AMF this season. So, I don't think it's the question of performance.

Ajagun is 25 years old. I don't think it neither about age too.

Is there anything else?

Musa had a good game..

I think what Musa lacks is a good foundation.. Looks at how easily, he gets past players.. With the proper technique, he would have been a great player.

Yes he had a good game against arsenal...but those things he lacks don't make ppl appreciate the effort he puts in...he almost ran himself to the ground in that game..if he had a good finishing, he could have scored at least 2goals against arsenal..

Go and tell that to UEFA.

So, in reality, Real Madrid is not the best in the world?

Who takes you seriously?

You are not an authority in this afair. So, keep your subjective analysis in your head.. It is not tenantable for objective analysis.

Less I forget, Kayode scored two goals against Ac Roma. Is Ac Roma from Somalia?

Stop disgracing yourself.

The point is, we should give him the chance to prove himself.
I agree. Just saying we should be focusing more on creativity. That's what this team really lacks attacking wise

well I was comparing his previous season with this..
Usually I expect strikers to score less in the Italian league.. Not to say some don't score up to the 30. I believe Immobile has 29 at the moment

We have enough players in his position (Wing) already, not that they are better than him per say but the coach just don't prefer him.
forgiveness:

You don't need the same type of players in a team. It must be varieties.

Kayode scored almost all his goals as a CF.

Modified: Since his actual position is CF, well the coach may not like his style then.

More to do with the choice of player the coaches went for, they actually didn't give him space or enough to hit the ground rolling, now that hes gone to Ukraine, lets see what he can do.
Martz101:

we dont know because they have not been tasted there, but kayode actually didn't do well in laliga. he could not get the starting role and didn't record a goal in laliga

UEFA rating is based on your performance at the highest level. Teams don't just get points out of the blues. They earn it.

Nigeria national team didn't qualify for two AFCON consecutively but you expected them to be in top 10 - 30 rankings? Hello! Wake up. You are not making sense.

Now, no authorized authorities on football matters will take novice seriously.

In the context i spoke about him, he cant do what i would have wanted him in the SE for which is to deputise Ighalo. he cant hold up play like you already affirmed. he's also not with the presence of a fearsome CF like Lewandoski, Martins, Ighalo, Ibrahimovic, Suarez, Aguero etc...
Martz101:

in as much as I dont rate him that much but his a CF, every striker operate differently, not all strikers are good in holding up play.

Humility017:

I think you should say that to yourself...
if you think that Ighalo and Martins who could barely pass the mark of 20 goals a season despite the game time in a Chinese league with mediocre Chinese players....could do same in netherland then you have to think again....

I still remember how Wolfsburg under 23 team whipped mikel's team....during preseason...you can Google the Chinese teams preseason result with small European clubs to see how they were grossly beaten...and you think so old legs can replicate same performance of old in the dutch league....
you are currently living in the past....

the dutch league defenders might be very poor...but not as bad as those Chinese players......

Humility017:

I don't think there is need for this...
you can just go bring Martins out of injury...
and take him to the world cup....
keep whipping a dead horse..what's the need.

some of you talk here...as if the rest of us don't watch football....

That should not be the excuse o. Odey wasn't far ahead, or was he?

Why does he need an excuse he already has 14 goals 8 more than any one else. Odey had players like Alhassan, Adetunji, Mfon Udoh and Victor Mbaoma nipping on his heels but in this case we have a firm one horse race.

KPOM!

Your goalkeeper is the last line of defence. It's like the foundation of your house. People who under estimate the importance of a good goalkeeper are living in fantasy land.

Yes, he has.

In Girona-fc he played as SS, Winger and CF.

It was in the game he started as a CF he had 2 assists and won MOTM but surprisedly or ironically, he was dropped in the next match.

He totally dominated the game.

Even in one of the matches he can in as a SS, Kayode was a beauty to behold.

It's looking like he is in the bag to me, and he is arguably the best among the German-Nigerian defenders we've been courting

Sir you are getting it wrong on Martins and Ighalo, pls give them little respect they deserves.

These guys did not start from Chinese league, better for you to look back before they moved to Chinese league.

Try and ask yourself why we couldn't get a good AM to slug it out with Mikel who also play in China.

Did you know Brazil qualification to WC involved China based players.

Sir you mixed things up that are not justifiable in analysing Martins and Ighalo and try to always balance things up.

Its his own 35 man list, lets have yours sir. cool
Kog45:

Gks
Uzoho
Ezenwa
Aiyenugba
Akpeyi
Alampasu/Okoye/Enyeama ...Why not Ajiboye cos Alampasu is not getting playing time, Enyeama too the same thing and Maduka lack the require experience so better to have one rookie which is Uzoho in the team.

Defenders
Balogun
Ekong
Shehu
Idowu
Ebuehi
Aina
Awaziem
Omeruo
Elderson.....Spot on

Midfielders
Mikel
Onazi
Ndidi
Joel Obi
Ogu
Etebo

Agbo...Rohr ?Ajagun should come in

Agu....Rohr ?Alhassan or Kelechi should come in

Ebere Eze

...I think Ajagun,Alhassan Muzzam and Kelechi Nwakili deserves a look in if you are considering Ebere Eze since we are having issue with AM,let them slug it out in camp and see who to deputise for Mikel.

Strikers
Iheanacho
Iwobi
Ighalo
Musa
V.Moses
S.Moses
Ideye
Kayode
Onyekuru
Bazee...on what criteria, why not Samuel Kalu

Dessers....is he better than Sadiq in Dutch league
.
Osimhen ...on what criteria, why not Awoniyi who is having playing time.

Pls why did you left out Awoniyi Taiwo,Sadiq Umar and Samuel Kalu if you are considering Osimhen,Dessers and Bazee.

Abi o, it's only in Nigeria you see "poor people" be rejecting coins, yet crying that we have inflation.

Up till now, Oyinbo still dey spend coins, but we here dey claim say coins is rubbish.

We're quick to wave away a league that is more organized, rich and robust than us when it suits our argument forgetting that our numero uno in the midfield and frontline are in that same league grin
