Seems an Utility player to me, dunno why the coach isn't looking his way.
forgiveness:

What do you mean by prime?

Is it age wise or performance wise?

Abdul Ajagun has contributed 12 goals in 21 games as an AMF this season. So, I don't think it's the question of performance.

Ajagun is 25 years old. I don't think it neither about age too.

Is there anything else?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by somehow: 1:52pm On Apr 06, 2018
Well the coach just does not like him, that's my only conclusion.
forgiveness:

Yes, he has.

In Girona-fc he played as SS, Winger and CF.

It was in the game he started as a CF he had 2 assists and won MOTM but surprisedly or ironically, he was dropped in the next match.

He totally dominated the game.

Even in one of the matches he can in as a SS, Kayode was a beauty to behold.

Yea, before he came they were scoring, so they surely didnt see sense in benching Stuanii for him, so they played him out of "position"?

I even heard from "forgiveness" that they deliberately didn't pay to him during play cheesy

not true bro, they bought him in the summer with a Uruguay striker Christian Stuani, they both started the season together, maybe he was unlucky to have a very good competitor, the dude already have 17 goals in 25 matches

I saw those matches with my two korokoro eyes. You can see the bitter expression on Kayode’s face in the last match he played for Girona.

That was the match that made him requested for a move to another club.

In the context i spoke about him, he cant do what i would have wanted him in the SE for which is to deputise Ighalo. he cant hold up play like you already affirmed. he's also not with the presence of a fearsome CF like Lewandoski, Martins, Ighalo, Ibrahimovic, Suarez, Aguero etc...

once again I dont like kayode that much but the reason for option is not to have like for like, Giroud is different from lacazette, higuen is different from aguero,

Having another striker like Ighalo won't help us I believe

Does Rohr knows all the Nigerian players abroad?

Probably, some Nigerians are the ones suggesting players to Rohr.

In that case, he doesn't stand a chance.

Yea, that guy can score, especially with his head and against any kind of opponent! he was just unlucky and having to compete with someone performing.

I think Kayode joined the team after preseason.

Stuanti dey score goals left right and center though.

More to do with the choice of player the coaches went for, they actually didn't give him space or enough to hit the ground rolling, now that hes gone to Ukraine, lets see what he can do.

If what you said about Girona is anything to go by then he will also fail in shakhtar because they are scoring already before he was signed and there C.F. facunda ferreyra has 19 goals in 24 matches.

And there style of play wont accommodate them both, but you never can tell

maybe if we had or have a scoring Ighalo, Rohr having to be combing Europe for a striker wouldn't have risen.

There were one or two players I noticed don't pass to him.

It was glaring.

let him maintain his goal per minute ratio that's my point.. He has the all time top scorer to contend with. And if he can stretch the record, let him go for it.

BascoVanVeli:

Why does he need an excuse he already has 14 goals 8 more than any one else. Odey had players like Alhassan, Adetunji, Mfon Udoh and Victor Mbaoma nipping on his heels but in this case we have a firm one horse race.

when the rankings change does that automatically mean that the player(s) in question also change in quality? Let me ask you in a more elementary way.
Should Umar get signed by a team ranked higher (IN RANKING)than Shaktar tomorrow, would you then argue that Umar is better than Kayode? grin

forgiveness:

UEFA rating is based on your performance at the highest level. Teams don't just get points out of the blues. They earn it.

Nigeria national team didn't qualify for two AFCON consecutively but you expected them to be in top 10 - 30 rankings? Hello! Wake up. You are not making sense.

Now, no authorized authorities on football matters will take novice seriously.

The problem is ppl are misunderstanding the difference between strength and balance..Sodiq like most African players have great strength but lack proper balance...that's why he easily falls down at high speed..but his hold up play is great also..

Messi on the other hand has great balance but lil strength..ppl think because messi doesn't fall down easily is because he has strength which he doesnt, his high pace, trickery and great balance with close control makes it hard to get him of the ball without fouling him..
Thanks for saying what I meant in another way

Let me help you since you don't know. Kayode didn't play as a striker in most of the games he played for.

So, please, don't pass wrong information that he was given a lot of opportunities.

Besides, he was not benched because he didn't perform or scored goals but it was because the main striker was scoring goals.

Even though Kayode got two assists and MOTM in a match he was benched in the next match. Can you explain the reason for that?

Umar and Dessers will not even smell bench, then how can dey score goals?

How can dey win MOTM?

How many goals did Umar score in a Sergio_A which is lesser than la Liga with all the chances he had?

Dessers is struggling to start in Eredivise, na la Liga em go come start?

This is subjective analysis I am seeing here.

Bros your analysis no get head, players less than Umar and dessers are in laliga, even imoh Ezekiel was sign for las palmas and is getting play time. there are even worst players in premiership

The Italian league has it's own uniqueness with rugged defenders. I don't expect a player from England for example to go over there and start tearing the league up -- and vice versa. I'm going to make a wild GUESS that the players you mentioned have been in the serie a for quite a while.. are any of them on their debut or second season?

BascoVanVeli:

I don't know about all that but Italy has a lot of guys who score big every year like Higguain, Dybala, Icardi, Dzeko, Mertins etc

It would be ridiculous to expect him to keep scoring at a goal every match until the end of the season. Abi na him buy all the defenders boot and bring them come stadium? grin

Bazee won't be fit enough. He's clocked only 68 minutes so far this season, and still struggling to get game time.
Rohr won't take back his word on Enyeama
Aren't we tired of using Agbo as a training material already? Let's have players that would really fight for a shirt.
It's looking like Onyekuru is already training with Anderlecht.. Welcome developmet
I endorse Eze's invitation. We don't want running chickens without a head -- but creative players. Eze is a special player. He should have the one and only rookie slot.

Osimhen should wait to fight another day.
Ideye hmm.

Mbappe of Monaco 11 found his way into the main team before he went to PSG.

Is he in the same level with Kelechi Iheanacho currently?

That is how to explain in a kindergarten way for you to understand.

As it stands, Kayode Olanrewaju is in a better league and club than Dessers and Umar combined. Sorry.

He's still currently better than them. Facts

Dzeko has not been in Italy so long. I still don't get ur point. Who from the Italian league has gone to England and taken it by storm apart from Mohamed Salah? Cuadrado was the man Salah went to Fiorentina to replace and he flopped at Chelsea, went back to Italy and became the man again.
