Joebie: Actually you are totally wrong. Marco Matarazzi left Everton after having a far from impressive season in 1999 to become one of the best defenders for Italy in modern times. 1 Like |

Joebie: Just to make sure I get your view in context. Essentially you are saying that there are players who left Seria A and basically ripped the EPL and became outstanding that means in the top 5 of players performance for thier particular position. Please just name 5 players thats all not a multitude to prove your point. I will in turn name 10 players. This is to educate ourselves no animosity or hostility. |

Martz101: No, no, no definitely not unless you have some indicative statistics to show quality and potential. Thers is no agent that can take you from nowhere to the top in a top club. |

You are mixing up two different discussions. In this discussion I was talking about multitude of examples to show him that club ranking is not a SINGLE reliable way to compare players. komekn: 1 Like |

Icon79: The NFF may or may not have an exhaustive list of potential Nigerian players in Europe. However it's not that relevant. This is the Nigerian NFF there is a lot of influence peddling and agent networking going on at all levels. |

lexyman: I know at least 100 Nigerian origin players above the age of 12 playing in top football academies in the England. Some of those players not all will break into the first team of a number of clubs and be top players. They will become the future of the SE. Most of the players in the SE have shown promise but it's debatable what level they will get too. As a future top winning world class team I have doubts. Our young players are not making waves in the top leagues and clubs. Only main Potential World class top player is Ndidi futuristically speaking. |

Well, u'd expect some players to use the first season to settle in England for example.. But special players light up the league immediately.. consider Ibra.. now Salah.. But you think he actually improved. And I was arguing he was that good even in Italy the prior season.. I suspect the class was there before his latest move. He met the right circumstances at Liverpool for it to flourish. Good timing! BascoVanVeli: |

"Liverpool's Mohamed Salah will be given until the last minute to recover from a groin injury for Saturday's derby at Everton, says boss Jurgen Klopp. Salah had to be substituted just after half-time of Wednesday's 3-0 Champions League win over Manchester City after scoring his 38th goal of the season" Please read above, I was explaining in previous page back regarding groin injury and ppl were claiming how you can't pass fitness if you are injured...Liverpool are willing to risk playing salah with groin injury..if he plays tomorrow, watch him on how careful he would be..groin never goes away in 3days...Salah is injured and if he passes fit tomorrow, he would play..does that mean the injury is still not there 1 Like 1 Share |

Reading posts from yesterday. I respect everyone's opinion and think everyone is entitled to have his/her own opinion. Just want to raise some issues with some names being bandied here. Austin Ejide: Say we take him to the world cup, what is the long term gain? Is he still going to be around in 2-3 years time? Dele Aiyenugba: Active in the Israeli first division for years now. We take him to the world cup. What happens after? Is he still as good as he was when himself and Enyeama were at their peak? History has taught us from Rufai in France 98. Uzoho: Am a staunch supporter. Is he ready based on what we have seen? I have my doubts. But an Uzoho at the world cup will grow in confidence into his role. Do we have the luxury to tolerate his errors has he grows into his role? An Uzoho in 4 years time if he fulfills his potential will be an absolute beast between the sticks. Aluko: Granted he has been overlooked. He is 29 now. He comes into the AMF role. After the world cup what's next? Can we rely on him in 4 years time? He will be 33 by then, planning to retire. Kayode: Skillful a good goal poacher on his day. Leaving Austria Wien was a big error. Should have remained in Austria knowing the World cup is around the corner. Man city should have loaned him back to Austria Wien. He is at Shaktar now, think time is too short for him to make an appreciable impact. Ajagun: Did well in Greece before moving to Belgium. The question is what does he have to offer that we don't already have. If he is indeed 25, Age is on his side, his chance will come if he misses this train. It is only human for us to show concern and sometimes panic. But let us trust Rohr. He knows what he is doing. We should support our team irrespective of who gets selected. An aside: Was at a burial yesterday, knows someone that knows someone that has heard and knows someone.....Its like Uduokhai is in the bag. And ......yeah.....CYRIL DESSERS!!!!!!! 5 Likes 2 Shares |

komekn: Ideye is a perfect example, webrom signed him without even watching him play and he flopped but yet again he got another deal with olympiakos, and yet again when the China market was booming he got a mega offer from China were he flopped and guess what he resurface in Malaga Having a good Agent in football is like using fertilizer in farming, there is always better players that don't get that chance. |
